Six Sentence Sunday #31 – She hooks him with a line

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting this week and I’d love to know what you think!! I have another 6 from my latest Novella BDSM WIP. It’s a sequel to the WIP I have been sharing these past many weeks. Last Week: while in Chicago for a conference, Janna gets a chance to enter a BDSM club for the first time. She’s found her escort in Master Simon. Last week she saw her first scene and she’s not running. This Week: Janna’s been practicing this first line all week. Simon has given her the lead in she’s been waiting for, let’s see if she pulls it off.

“I’m here for one more night. I wanted to see what the Chicago club had to offer.”

“I’m free tonight, if you need a Dom to show you around.”

“Thank you, Sir, yes, I do need a Dom.” The pounding in her chest threatened to escape, but she mustered the courage to keep her shoulders relaxed. She would not back down, for once in her life she would follow through.

Janna’s words might have been true, but they weren’t completely honest either. But that’s it for this week, you’ll have to come back and see how things turn and tumble for these two. Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. Don’t forget to check out the other Six Sunday authors. Lots of good stuff at Six Sunday and its days are now sadly numbered. I’m not crying. Try to find a new favorite today. happy hunting!

Six Sentence Sunday #30 – Seeing is believing

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting this week and I’d love to know what you think!! I have another 6 from my latest Novella BDSM WIP. It’s a sequel to the WIP I have been sharing these past many weeks. Last Week: while in Chicago for a conference, Janna gets a chance to enter a BDSM club for the first time. She’s found her escort in Master Simon. Last week he walked her to the playroom door and she walked right in and got an eye full of a couple in mid-scene. This Week: Once again, I’m giving you the very next 6.

The man thrust his cock in and out of her mouth, his control clear. Heat pooled between Jenna’s legs and her breasts tingled with desire. She’d read scenes just like this one. It was beautiful. It was true. She wanted to be that girl.

Will Janna get a taste of what she wants and will it be Master Simon at the helm? Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. Don’t forget to check out the other Six Sunday authors. Lots of good stuff at Six Sunday and its days are now sadly numbered. I’m not crying. Six Sentence Sunday #29 – see Janna melt in want

Club music, with a heavy bass, beat through her chest. Smacks of paddles, whooshes of whips, and bodies meeting wrenched throughout the room. Her eyes wide with trepidation and exhilaration located the nearest scene. Her feet found their way.

The woman knelt before her Dom, her eyes focused on him alone. Her hands bound behind her back displayed her trust. Janna melted in want.

Will Janna get a taste of what she wants? Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. Shelton’s Homecoming by Dianne Hartsock QandA / Giveaway

Shelton’s Homecoming by Dianne Hartsock

Released: June 29, 2012 by Breathless Press

Website ~ Blog ~ Facebook ~ Twitter ~ Amazon ~ Goodreads

I’m excited to have in the ehouse today a fellow flasher and teaser, Dianne Hartsock. This post is full of all kinds of good stuff. You saw all the links just above to all things Dianne. I also got Dianne to answer some questions, she’s sharing an excerpt from her latest release, Shelton’s Homecoming, AND Dianne is giving an ecopy of Shelton’s Homecoming to one lucky commentor. You have until the end of the day Saturday, August 4th to comment and then random.org will select the winner.

Thank you so much Sidney for having me as a guest on your lovely blog today!

Question #1 Picture your favorite place in the world. Now, can you tell us a little bit about the place you’ve pictured?

Dianne: I’d have to say my favorite place is Crater Lake in Oregon. My husband and I spent a long, sexy and fun weekend at the Crater Lake Lodge last summer. A beautiful lodge but the lake itself is breathtaking! A crystal clear blue where the sky is mirrored perfectly. We were sitting on a bench outside of the lodge looking down into the water far below us (it is a crater, remember!). The reflected clouds made it actually appear as if we were looking down into the sky. Amazing and magical. Love that lake. We went back there this summer just to see it again.

Question #2 What was the first book to make a lasting impression on you?

Dianne: Okay, I have to confess that I’ve always been a hopeless romantic, even at fifteen! The first book that ran away with my heart was ‘Little Women’. It had everything! Love and tragedy and joy and sorrow. I was madly in love with Teddy, and being a struggling writer myself, ahem!, I totally related to Jo March. I think that’s when I decided all my stories would need to have happy endings.

Question #3 What was the last book you read that made a lasting impression on you?

Dianne: One Small Thing by Piper Vaughan and M.J. O’Shea

This is my review on Goodreads:

Big happy smile! I’m not going to go on and on about how much I adore these characters and how the story made me laugh and cry then laugh and cry some more. But I will say it’s one of the few books I plan on rereading. Maybe tomorrow.

Question #4 Can you tell us about your challenges in getting your first book published?

Dianne: My biggest challenge was taking criticism with a smile! My first book to be published was my paranormal thriller novel ALEX. I tried lots of publishing houses, with no luck, then stumbled upon an editor willing to help me. Oh gosh, we ripped the story apart chapter by chapter, line by line, while she pointed out all my mistakes but also telling me the changes I needed to make to create the story it finally became. Very painful process, let me tell you!

It took months of reworking the story, but when we were finally done, it took only three months from when I started submitting to having a contract in my hands. My advice? A good editor is invaluable.

Question #5 Can you tell us about a criticism you’ve received that pushed you into a better writing place?

Dianne: Once upon a time I was criticized for using other authors’ voiced in my work and not my own. And it was true! I thought that if I wrote like my favorite authors, I should be able to get published. Wrong! It took awhile for me to find my own voice, but now I couldn’t imagine writing any other way. I wouldn’t know how!

Question #6 Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?

Dianne: Shelton’s Homecoming is an m/m erotic contemporary, the fourth in the series, so yea, pretty much all of it is based on real life experiences, either my own or family members and friends. It also covers social issues that are important today.

Question #7 Which one of your characters would you NOT like to meet in real life?

Dianne: I like all of the characters in Shelton’s Homecoming. In the third book, Shelton’s Choice, there’s a man named Andrew that would give me the creeps immediately. He has a ‘thing’ for Shelton and can’t seem to take no for an answer. I wouldn’t want anything to do with him.

Question #8 Which one of your characters would you most like to meet in real life?

Dianne: Oh, that would have to be my Shelton. I’ve known him for a year now and have come to admire him. He’s a very loving, gentle man who can be strong when he needs to be and gives his heart wholly to his friends. He also makes a very sweet boyfriend. I think it would be fun to be neighbors with him and Nevil.

Question #9 How did you come up with your title?

Dianne: Titles are easy for me! Of course, my titles are also very simple ones. I called the first book in this series Shelton in Love, because it’s about Shelton falling in love. I was going to call the second book something else, but my publisher said using Shelton’s name again was the better way to go, so there you are.

Question #10 Tell us a bit about the projects you are working on now?

Dianne: While I’m writing this interview, I only have one project I’m working on, another m/m erotic contemporary with all new characters. I’m quickly falling in love with it! I’m also waiting for edits on a fantasy novella I’ve signed a contract for with Etopia Press and am waiting to see if an m/m Regency of mine has been accepted. Oh, and I’m plotting out several sequels and have an old novel to revamp.

The Blurb:

Shelton’s coming home, but after seven months of living apart, can he and Nevil pick up from where they’d left off?

Shelton’s grown tired of living a life separate from Nevil. So when Nevil is hurt in an accident at work, Shelton comes home for good. Feeling closer than ever to his lover, Shelton’s ready to make a lasting commitment to their relationship. But is that what Nevil wants? Nevil is less than enthusiastic when an old flame marries, leaving Shelton wondering if he’ll have to keep his dreams on hold indefinitely.

The Excerpt:

The doctor returned as promised; checked Nevil over; and discharged him.

“I left a prescription at the nurse’s station for you to pick up on your way out. Pain meds for the headache I know you’re hiding; and you can also take them for your arm.”

“Thank you, Andrew,” Nevil said with his charming smile.

Shelton gave the love of his life a dry look. Always the flirt. He shook the doctor’s hand and took the copy of the release papers from him. “Thank you for taking such good care of him. I have to tell you it was a relief to find him here rather than in ICU.”

“It was my pleasure. Take care.”

Nevil collected his prescription at the front desk and they made their way to the elevators. A soft rain fell as they emerged from the hospital entrance and made a dash for the train depot. Deep in thought, Shelton chewed his lip while they waited.

He glanced at Nevil beside him and noted the white set of his lips. “I could take you home first if your head hurts. There’s no reason I can’t retrieve the car myself later and pick up your prescription.”

Nevil gave him a smile and slipped his warm hand into Shelton’s. “Let’s pick it up together. I feel like I’ve just been released from prison. I want to be outside for a while.”

“Just don’t get chilled,” Shelton said, and then he groaned. “Please ignore me. I think I left my brain back in Colorado.”

Nevil chuckled. “As long as your luscious body is here,” he murmured and smacked his lips together.

Shelton glanced around quick. No one paid them any attention so he gave Nevil a light kiss; then wished he hadn’t as every nerve in his body ignited. He wanted Nevil wrapped around him–now; withNevil’s gorgeous cock buried deep inside him.

He jerked his gaze down the tracks; embarrassed and aching. He hoped Nevil hadn’t noticed the tremble in his hands. They would pick up the Prius and go home; where Nevil would take his meds and go to bed. Shelton would have to content himself with a shower where he could get rid of the hard-on he’d suffered all morning. The idea made him feel alone and without a thought he squeezed Nevil’s hand.

Nevil leaned close to whisper in his ear, “Don’t forget … you promised to let me ‘do’ you.”

Shelton laughed, breathless. He turned back to Nevil and touched his lips with an unsteady finger. “I’m holding you to that,” he said, then sucked in air when Nevil’s velvet soft lips closed over his fingertip. He watched in captive fascination as his digit disappeared bit by bit between those pale lips. He felt the roughness of Nevil’s tongue in the moist, hot depths; then Nevil pushed the finger to the roof of his mouth and started to suck on it. God! Shelton’s prick hardened more with each draw as Nevil’s tongue undulated around his finger; his balls were tight and ached.

“Damn, Nevil … stop! You’re going to get us arrested,” he panted in his lover’s ear. He knew that at any second he was ready to drag Nevil behind the hospital and fuck him senseless.

Nevil’s throaty laugh made him shiver with bliss. “The train’s coming.”

Shelton dropped his head on Nevil’s shoulder and fought to calm his unsteady senses. Nevil didn’t play fair. He almost sobbed when Nevil’s body heat wrapped around him and teased him closer when it was time to pull away.

“Come on, Love. It won’t take long to get the car and then we can go home,” Nevil said with encouragement and he tugged on his sleeve. Shelton boarded the sleek train car; but chose to stand when Nevil patted the seat beside him. He couldn’t tell where Nevil’s fingers would roam if he sat down. Nevil gave him a delighted smile in answer as he read his mind with ease. Shelton scowled and looked out the window as the train gathered speed. His errant mind pictured Nevil’s mouth on him as they swept along the tracks; and he had to stifle a moan in his throat.

Thank you, Dianne, it was so much fun to have you here today. Don’t forget to comment, one lucky commentor will receive an ecopy of Shelton’s Homecoming. Congratulations, Dianne, on your latest release.

Spotlight: The Bank Job by Bonni Sansom Q&A and Giveaway

The Bank Job by Bonni Sansom

Releasing July 21, 2012 from Silver Publishing

Website ~ Blog ~ Facebook ~ Goodreads ~ Amazon ~ Twitter

Please help me welcome, fellow flasher and teaser, Bonni Sansom. She has a new book coming out in just two days. We have all kinds of yummies for you. Below you’ll find a Q&A, the blurb and excerpt for The Bank Job and details on another of Bonni’s books with the giveaway information, so don’t forget to comment!! You have until the end of the day Saturday, July 21st to comment and then I’ll utilize random.org to find the WINNER!! First Bonni’s going to hook us on The Bank Job.

When stubborn Kat and Dom Jarrod meet during a bank robbery, things quickly get heated. She refuses to be a victim and he just wants everyone to get out alive. Can Jarrod tame her before they both get killed?

Now you know a little why I wanted Bonni here celebrating her book. Let’s learn more about Bonni…

Question #1. Picture your favorite place in the world. Now, can you tell us a little bit about the place you’ve pictured?

Bonni: There’s a beautiful fountain in Ashley Park that I love to sit by and write. The trickling water is peaceful, and I  can really focus on my writing there.

Question #2. What was the first book to make a lasting impression on you?

Bonni: I know this is going to sound silly, but the real book that got my creative juices flowing and making me believe “if she can do it, so can I” was none other than Twilight. Now don’t get me wrong, I love books and I’ve been interested in them for life, but that one was “the one” that got me started.

Question #3. What was the last book you read that made a lasting impression on you?

Bonni: There are too many to answer this question. I thought about it for a while, and could only manage to dwindle it down to a handful, but then again, don’t all books leave a lasting impression?

Question #4. Can you tell us about your challenges in getting your first book published?

Bonni: My first one wasn’t that hard to get published. I had a short story that a publisher was interested in, it was a short for a Christmas Anthology, but they turned it down and I submitted it to Renaissance eBooks Inc. and they said, “make it at least 30k” and I came back with 40k+ and they got Jack’s Christmas Wish out on Nov.11, 2011.

Question #5. Can you tell us about a criticism you’ve received that pushed you into a better writing place?

Bonni: Yes. Someone suggested my characters were a little bit bi-polar, so I have tried toning that down and putting the characters in the right frame of mind for the scene.

Question #6. Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?

Bonni: In some of my books, for instance, Laine from Eternal Bliss is a lot like me. I would definitely be her BFF in real life. She enjoys a lot of the same things I do. And we both speak the same, so there ya go.

Question #7. Which one of your characters would you NOT like to meet in real life?

Bonni: Ha! To tell the truth it would have to be Kat from The Bank Job. She scares the shit out of me. I could never be as brazen or as bold as she is.

Question #8. Which one of your characters would you most like to meet in real life?

Bonni:  All of the men. Ha, ha! I definitely wouldn’t mind meeting the hero’s of my stories. They’re so sexy it hurts. And come on, they look, so freaking good to the mind’s eye.

Question #9. How did you come up with your title?

Bonni: In most cases I have a title before I have a book. The stories seem to come to me. I never have to spend time chasing an idea because it came to me in a dream or hit me in the shower. That is the truth so help me. I can be in the midst of a shower, rinsing out my hair and all the sudden I have characters (with names already) telling me their story. This happens so often that I bought kiddie crayons to write on the shower wall before I forgot it. My husband says there’s nothing like reading a sex scene when he gets in the shower.

Question #10. Tell us a bit about the projects you are working on now?

Bonni: Right now I have just finished my very first paranormal story. “Hunter’s Bounty” Hopefully this one will be in an anthology with three other very talented writers. I’m also working on the sequel to Eternal Bliss and I just turned in the second Redemption story and I’m just waiting to hear back from them. I have another 6 stories in the fire. All at different stages, so I have a lot on my plate at the moment.

Thanks, Bonni!! That was fun, but I want to read more about The Bank Job.

The Blurb:

Katherine ‘Kat’ Anderson goes to deposit her check and ends up in the middle of a bank robbery. She refuses to cower and will fight them to the bitter end—to the robbers she’s a pain in the ass, but to the manager she’s sexy as hell.

Jarrod Miller’s day started off bad and only gets worse when three armed men burst into the bank he manages. He does everything he can to ensure his customers get out alive, but pink-haired Kat seems determined to get them killed.

When they are locked in an office together, things start to heat up. Between Kat’s stubborn defiance and Jarrod’s Dom attitude, will they rip each other apart or just their clothes off?

The Excerpt:

Kat had sold her weight in dildos and other toys, but every time a butt plug landed on the counter in front of her, she blushed. She was definitely not used to blushing, but that night had changed something inside of her. Something she would deny until her dying breath—she really cared for Jarrod. They’d been talking on the phone as much as they could, having phone sex whenever possible. He was really good at getting her off with his words, which was weird because she hardly ever got off without a lot of stimulation. But when it came to Jarrod, the words from his mouth could get her off in just a few minutes. She was happy she had the same effect on him as he did her. They were evenly matched.

“Kat. Earth to Kat.” Marcus waved his hand in front of her face, trying to get her attention. “There’s a customer that needs help in the leather department.”

“Alright, sorry, I was just lost in thought.” Kat quickly rounded the counter to go help the guy that had his head stuck in a leather face mask. It was a common problem. They zip them up but can’t zip them back down. She sighed and approached the man cautiously. This mask didn’t have eye holes. “Sir, please just stand still and I’ll help you get the mask off.”

He stood still and held his arms out to her. He mumbled something she couldn’t understand, but she grabbed the zipper and slid it down. “Is that better?”

“Yes ma’am, I appreciate it.” His face was as red as a beet, but she didn’t dare laugh at him.

“Did you want to purchase the mask?” She knew the answer, but had to ask anyway.

“No, I don’t think so.” He blushed even further.

Marcus came over to her and whispered in her ear. “Loverboy is on the phone for you. I’ll take over here if you want me to.” She nodded and headed for the phone.

“Hey, what’s up?” She knew what he wanted. He was at home, off work and horny. She had gotten him off a couple times from work, but she couldn’t keep it up. She suspected Marcus was getting tired of it.

“You know what’s up. My cock is up and it wants to play with you.” He made a growling noise she loved.

“Alright, but this is the last time. I can’t keep doing this at work. I do have a serious job, you know.” She scoffed, knowing damn well he wouldn’t go for that line.

“You sell sex on a daily basis. You love making me come and you know it. Don’t bullshit me, Kat.”

“Okay, fine, I’m bullshitting you, but I really need to stop doing this at work. You can surely wait until I get off.”

“I’d love to wait till you get off. That way I don’t come first.” He chuckled.

“You know what I meant.”

“I do, but I couldn’t help myself.”

“I mean it. I can’t keep doing this here.” She huffed out a breath as she played with a clit stimulator that was purchased and brought back for a refund.

“Okay, I hear you. I won’t call you at work anymore, but since you’re off tomorrow, you could come here after I get off work and spend the night having sex. Sound good?”

She dropped the vibrator, it landed on the floor with a clatter. “Shit.”

“What’s the matter?”

“I dropped a clit stimulator. Hang on for a sec.” Kat put the phone on the counter and walked around, picking up the vibrator. She walked back around with the stimulator buzzing in her hand. The woman brought it back because it didn’t work, but drop it in the floor once and it buzzed away. Kat thought she might have to try one of these. She picked the phone back up. “Okay, you still there?”

“Where would I go, sweetheart?”

“Don’t call me that. It sounds so stupid. I’m no sweetheart.” She let the vibe buzz in her hand.

“What’s that noise?”

“It’s a vibrator. I was testing it. I might have to get me one of these things.” Kat touched the tip of it to her finger, feeling the vibrations, making her finger tingle. Yes, she would definitely have to get one of these.

“You don’t need a vibrator, Kat, you have me.” Jarrod cleared his throat.

“I won’t always have you. At some point we’re going to start feeling something and I don’t want that anymore than you do. So I’ll need a vibrator.”

“Are you coming over or not?”

He had that commanding voice he used in the bedroom. “Yes, Sir. I’ll come over after work.” She felt like she should snap to attention, but then laughed it off.

“Bring that vibrator with you. I’ll show you how to work it.”

“I’m pretty sure I can figure it out.” She turned it off and laid it down on the counter.

“I’m sure you could, but I bet I can show you ways you never would have thought of. Just bring it.”

“Alright, I’ll bring it. Geez, you sure are bossy.” She started to call him an asshole, but refrained.

“It’s my job.”

“I’ve got to go. There’s a customer that needs me.” She mouthed, “I’ll be with you in a sec”, to the customer. “I’ll see you after work, okay?”

“You bet your sweet ass you will. Remember where the key is?”

“Yes, I remember. Gotta go.” She hung up on him and headed for the customer.

I know, I know, you’ve got to wait two more days before you can read any more. Remember I know Bonni from flashing and teasing, ha, ha. But, wait, Bonni has something to giveaway. Take it away Bonni.

I just want to thank you SJ for allowing me the opportunity to get to know your fan base and I hope some of them try and enjoy my books. One lucky winner here will win a copy of Eternal Bliss if they leave a comment. Have fun and good luck.

I hope you enjoy the blurb and excerpt of The Bank Job, which will be out Saturday, July 21. On this link.

Thank you, Bonni, for stopping by my ehome today!! (((hugs)))

Spotlight: The Wager (Touch of the Gods) by D. X. Luc

The Wager (Touch of the Gods) by D. X. Luc

Released: May 4, 2012 ~ 228 pages

Blurb:

When love and war makes a little wager, what could possibly go wrong?

I am Hephaestus. God of inventions, blacksmiths, and volcanoes. Sounds like I’m awesome right? Well, I’m not. In fact, I’m the loser of Olympus and a new bachelor to boot. Living the single life is great until a decade passed. Honestly if my divorce from the Goddess of Love wasn’t bad enough, I am still being rejected by the other women of my home.

Because of an incessant need to make me a pawn in his game, my brother, Ares convinces Eros to make a little bet. A wager that puts my lack of love life to the test. Sent to Earth, I’m skeptical, when suddenly I lose myself in the sensual scent and beauty of the full bodied Vanessa. She is my everything, my perfection.

Sadly, from a single caress upon her silky flesh, I sent our lives into a downward spiral of hell. To save her, I must get beyond my demons of the past. And to save me, she will have to decide if I’m worth giving up everything for.

Bio:

An avid reader since I was a child, I never found a book I disliked. Mostly, you could find me lost in Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, or Ernest Hemingway, and my most favorite, Ancient Greek literature. Taking my love of books, I started writing poetry, short stories, and even helped with screen writes for my drama club.

By the time I was in my teens, my older sister introduced me to my first romance novel, The Hawk and the Dove by Virginia Henley. The moment I fell into the world of love, I was hooked, and my addiction for more grew until I found myself delving deeper into the erotic.

After being convinced that I had the skills to try my hand at writing, I went to work on my first story Down the Yellow Brick Road: Finding Home. And since being published, I’ve not looked back.

Now, as a busy mom of three, that homeschools, drives to activities, and manages to find time to just cuddle with my husband of ten years, I have to say, I love being naughty when I get the chance. It’s freeing and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Excerpt:

Connie twisted her hands in her lap. No service job was going to pay her enough to stay here, to pay her back taxes, to go back to the life she’d had just six weeks ago. She had to tell Dorothea the truth.

Holding out the letter with her notice and apology, she tried to hide the tears that welled up in her eyes.

Dorothea waved off the letter. “You’re not leaving,” she said, with a quick glance at Deborah, and Connie wondered yet again whether the women had a touch of the sight, because otherwise, how the hell did they know what Connie was going to say?

Half an hour later, Connie had a new job helping with some promotional work they were having done—at least they thought she did—and a reduction in her rent. And nothing she’d done or said could sway the two women.

But Jamieson Smith?

She’d been drooling over him since she’d moved onto Courtwood Street, even knowing she’d never have a chance with him. The women—the many, many women—he dated? They looked like runway models. Rich runway models.

But what choice did she have? If the sisters had their way, she was going to be working with him on a promotion campaign for MatchMagic and, from the martial look in Dorothea’s eyes, Jamieson Smith would have no choice about hiring her. Didn’t matter how tough he was, no one could deny the sisters.

* * * * *

They had summoned him to another meeting. He hadn’t even had time to wrap his head around a campaign for a dating Web site—he, Jamieson Smith, the last man who knew anything about true love and romance—and yet here they were, demanding his presence already.

He laughed as he opened the door to MatchMagic. He could hardly wait to see what they had planned for him this afternoon. Just the thought of them, so much like his family, made him happy. Maybe not the work so much, but those three women? They were great.

What he hadn’t expected was to see the woman he watched walk by his home office every morning, the woman he’d lusted after for months. Oh, he knew he couldn’t have her—just that daily glimpse of her told him that she wasn’t his type. Too sweet, too short, too curvy. But there was something about her that tempted him, even though he was pretty sure she’d want a relationship. But he couldn’t stop staring, couldn’t keep from making certain that he was at his desk each morning at seven o’clock when she left for work.

He was obsessed by her… and that’s why he’d promised himself he’d never meet her in person.

The three witches—as he’d dubbed them to go along with the name of their Web site, and damn, that was a pretty good way into a spring promotion blitz—were waiting for him. This time, though, there were four women around the boardroom table, and his eyes—and his nose (she smelled like spring)—locked on the fourth one.

“Jamieson?” Delia’s voice jolted him out of his reverie.

He shook his head to clear the scent of Connie and focused on the witches. “Sorry, I had an idea for your promotion. Just let me jot it down.” He took out his notepad and wrote a few words down: Witch. Magic. Spring solstice.

When he looked up again, all four sets of eyes were on him. He felt his cheeks flush and couldn’t remember the last time that had happened. These women, especially that woman, were getting to him.

“Jamieson Smith, this is Connie Stanton. She’s going to be helping you with the promotion you’re doing for us. She’s spent years working as a technical writer and assistant. Add her services to your account.” Dorothea sounded as regal as a short, almost-seventy-year-old woman could sound.

He started to shake his head, but Deborah broke in before he could speak. “We have a feeling about this,” she said. “We want you and Connie to do this together.”

He frowned, and she said firmly, “Work it out.”

Kole, a Dom at the sex club Castle Dolce Vita, wasn’t part of her fantasy, but he’s about to show her he should have been.

Kole is more than willing to introduce Bella to BDSM since he’s held an interest in her for some time. But the feisty woman isn’t easily tamed and her strong personality proves to be difficult. While she might be determined to keep him at a distance, Kole has other ideas. He won’t allow her to shut him out.

A pact between best friends brought them together, emotional barriers tear them apart. Kole skillfully reminds Bella through pleasure and punishment that she is now his submissive, and her place is under his command.

Publisher’s Note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: BDSM theme and elements, including spanking.

Only one thing would save Bella now—a stiff drink. Reed and Kole’s parties were always fun, and it was nice to see new friends she’d made over the past month. But her mood was right in the toilet. It’d been that way all day and had only gotten worse since she joined the party. She shouldn’t have come.

She cursed on a low breath. How in the hell was she going to get out of her current predicament? Originally, it’d been she who offered the idea of the pact of seduction, and she couldn’t even commit. Pathetic.

Marley’s giggle drew her attention, and Reed had pulled her onto his lap, nibbling at her neck. As horrible as it was, jealously surged. Maybe she had hoped that her fantasy would fill that empty void in her soul. Sure, it was meant as something sexually fun, but Bella craved something…

A part of her remained unfulfilled, even if she didn’t understand exactly what was missing. All she knew, her life at this moment was boring with a side of totally sucks.

She glanced over at Kyra, who laughed with Sadie, and nudged her arm. “I’ll be back. I need some air.”

“Sure.” Kyra’s green eyes were a little glassy. The wine clearly had gotten to her. “Want some company?”

“Nah.” She plastered on a fake smile. “I won’t be long.”

Kyra gave a nod, then turned her attention back at Sadie as the two chuckled about something Sadie had said. If only Bella had something to laugh about. She rose from the couch and made her way through the crowd.

As she passed, she noticed a man sitting on the ottoman and a woman knelt at his feet with her arms over his legs. The position appeared casual enough, but it also looked…different. As if the woman enjoyed being at his feet. Another spurt of jealously soared, and she gave her head a good hard shake. She was apparently envious of everyone who had a relationship. And since when had she been jealous of a BDSM relationship?

What’s gotten into you?

She made her way through the living room and stepped out onto the balcony. The cool air brushed against her skin, and she shivered. Winter still hung on in Baltimore, but what a strange winter it’d been—snow one day, mild the next. Tonight was brisk, but that only seemed to help cool off the annoyance burning her blood.

With her glass in her hands, she leaned on the railing and glanced over the city. Reed and Kole’s condo had an amazing view and the lights twinkled below.

She sipped at her drink and pondered her situation. How could she plan another fantasy when the only one she wanted she had yet to fully accept herself? And why was she acting like a bitter idiot?

After a long gulp that had her cringing from the aftertaste, a deep voice interrupted her useless thoughts. “I heard last night didn’t go well.”

She lowered the glass, licked the moisture on her lips, and looked next to her to find Kole. Like always in his presence, butterflies fluttered in her stomach, but she squashed them and kept her voice controlled. “That’s putting it lightly.”

His blond stylish hair framed a face worth a second look, and his dark blue eyes shone with a power that made her melt. He leaned against the railing beside her, cocked his head, and she felt the weight of his stare right down to her toes. “Tell me about it.”

She sipped her drink, mortified to her bones that she had to admit this to Kole. “It wasn’t Raven’s fault. I”—she drew in a deep breath and said quickly—“I always thought my fantasy was to be with a woman, but clearly it’s not.”

“Ah, I see.” He took a gulp of his beer before he lowered it. “You didn’t get off, I’m assuming?”

She snorted. “If laughing in her face means that I didn’t get off, then yes, I didn’t get off.”

He chuckled, the sound so seductive Bella quivered. In response to that odd reaction, she examined him and couldn’t stop from admiring the view.

He was dressed in a pair of dark jeans that no doubt hugged his fine ass, and a black T-shirt that was snug around the muscles beneath. Good God. She licked her lips for reasons that had nothing to do with her drink.

“You didn’t follow through with your part of the pact, then?”

Her gaze lifted to his face. The glint in his eyes declared he’d been quite aware of her admiring him. Hell, she’d lusted after him since the day they met. A strong sexual attraction existed between them that she hadn’t experienced before with any man, especially a Dom.

She blinked and focused away from the warmth that formed between her thighs. “That’s right. I bailed on the pact.”

His gaze became penetrating as his tone dipped lower. “Why don’t you arrange another night with someone else for your fantasy?”

“Because”—her muscles stiffened, and after a long sigh, she grimaced—“I have no idea what that fantasy is now.”

“Such a problem for a woman to have,” he mused.

She gulped at the way his voice seemed to carry into her soul; then she lowered her head to avoid eye contact with him. He raised his bottle to his mouth, and his arm brushed against hers. Tingles zinged through her, and she squeezed her thighs together to ease the throb of her clit.

How did he make her body do that? Every time he was near, she all but sizzled, and when he touched her, everything was amplified.

“I see that you need help, then, in finding what you’re looking for.”

It hadn’t sounded like a question, which she was glad for since her tight throat made it impossible to answer. He slid his finger along her arm, slowly and with clear intent to unravel her.

She bit her bottom lip. “W-what does that mean?”

He tucked his finger under her chin and lifted her head. “I think we both know what I mean.” Those eyes of his burned with the lust that he had obviously contained. “You enjoy my attention, and I’d enjoy you under my command.”

Then he pressed a finger on the back of her hand and danced his touch up her arm. His gaze followed his caresses every step of the way. And damn him if she didn’t close her eyes and shudder.

A scrape of his nail along her skin drew her eyes open, and he grinned with sin. “Look how beautifully you react to me.” He finally reached her shoulder, and she trembled under the softness of his touch that seemed to contradict that power oozing from him. He tucked his fingers back under her chin, drew her head up, and stared intently into her eyes.

Searching for what, she had no idea.

His hold tensed, a shift in his gaze appeared that made her stomach flip-flop, and her panties were now soaked. He leaned in, pressed his lips against hers, and the world froze. His luscious and damn well perfect mouth molded with hers as his silky tongue swept her away. When had anyone ever kissed her like this?

Oh, right—never.

He kissed her thoroughly, leaving no part of her mouth untouched; then he backed away but kept hold of her chin. “It’s time to stop ignoring what your body needs and accept that you want to be dominated.”

Hell, how right was he? Maybe BDSM wasn’t her fantasy when she made the pact of seduction with her friends, but after hearing about it from Marley, her interest had grown. She lifted a lazy shoulder to appear nonchalant. “I suppose if I set up a scene with you, that would be a solution to my problem.”

“Not good enough.” His gaze hardened. “Do you want me to take you into a scene, Bella?”

At his pause, she realized she needed to give a better answer, and she nodded. “I do.”

He examined her for a long moment before he finally said, “Now what are your interests in BDSM?”

She melted at the way he stared at her now. So intense. So wicked. Was this a hint of what he’d look like in a scene? Her body flushed, yet she held her focus and lifted her chin. She had always prided herself on staying strong around powerful men.

Her job as a stockbroker in Baltimore’s top lending investment firm meant she swam with the sharks. Most of her coworkers were authoritative men. If she’d showed weakness, she wouldn’t be where she was today, and she’d worked hard for her position.

“I’m interested in”—her throat went dry. All these fantasies she hadn’t admitted to anyone. Was she really going through with this? Her soaking panties declared it so—“ropes, sex toys, floggers, to be controlled, pleasure, and pain.” She raised her glass to her mouth and tried to ignore the way her hands shook.

Before the rim could reach her lips, Kole snatched the glass from her hands and set it on the ground next to him. “If we’re discussing this and you are serious, you will stop drinking.”

A flare of irritation rose up that he’d be so bold to take her drink right out of her hands, yet Marley had said that Castle Dolce Vita Doms never allowed submissives to drink alcohol in a scene to ensure they were clearheaded. And since they were discussing what would happen between them, she let it go. “Okay.”

He gave a short nod. “Now I want to make sure you’re well aware of what will happen and what I expect of you.” His gaze searched hers, seemingly looking right through her. “And I need to be sure that I’m the correct Dom for you.”

“I don’t want anyone else,” she blurted out before she could stop herself.

His eyebrows rose. “I don’t mind your answer, Bella.” A small grin turned up the corners of his mouth. “But do tell—have you put more thought into this than you’re letting on?”

Her cheeks had never burned so hot, but she wouldn’t be that woman who’d stumble around a man. She stuffed her nervousness away, clasped her hands, and demanded her voice to be strong. “Maybe once or twice.”

She’d been aware of the mutual attraction between them, so two could play his game. “Are you trying to deny you haven’t thought about it too?”

He winked. “Maybe once or twice.”

A flutter whipped around inside her, her palms grew clammy, and she squeezed her fingers. Why did he make her act so…knocked off her axis?

“One thing that needs to be discussed is my expectations.” He glanced at her hands for a moment as if he took in her reaction before he looked back into her eyes. “From what I know of you as you are now, you’d struggle to meet them. And I want to make that clear so you know what you’re getting yourself into.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” she snapped. “Why would I struggle to meet your demands?”

He gave his head a slow shake. “I’m not saying it to insult you, but to give you a stern warning. I don’t play lightly.”

“Well, I…” Her entire face burned hot as if she had a high-grade fever. Marley had told her all about Kole. How he enjoyed pain play. How strict he was in how a submissive behaved. And all it’d done was increase the throb between her thighs. Solidified the fantasy. “I think I might like that.”

He gave a delicious smile. “I have no doubt you would.”

And then his lips were back on hers as he swept her away in another leg-wobbling kiss before those plush lips tore away from hers.

“You’ll arrive at the castle next Friday at seven o’clock. I’ll have a room reserved.” He dropped his head, his eyes in the direct line of hers. “When you arrive, remove your clothes, kneel in the center of the room, and wait for me. Clear?”

Heat spread across her body at the images playing in her head. Nude? Kneeling? Oh God! She quivered in anticipation.

At his expectant expression, she nodded instead of offering him a breathy response.

“Good.” He took her mouth again playfully, nibbled on the corners of her lips, and flicked her lips with his tongue. And when he had her body ramped up to a fever pitch, he backed away to trail his thumb over her lips. “Can you be honest and open with me?”

Drool, honest-to-God drool, formed in her mouth. Everyday Kole was sexy. Dom Kole was to die for. The sheer power that exuded from him, intensity in his features, it all captivated her. He’d asked her to be honest with him—how hard could that be? “I can do that.”

He nodded in approval, skimmed her mouth again with his thumb, while his gaze stayed focused there. The smile he gave, the possessiveness held in the depths of his eyes, liquefied her insides.

Something sparked through his touch, only increasing with his kiss, and even more so by the way he looked at her now. One of those duh moments. Had what she wanted—desired—been standing right in front of her this entire time?

In less than a week, she’d have the answer.

But First, we have a Q & A from the stars of Wicked Allure. Please help me welcome Zachary Steele and Madigan DeLeon.

Zach, Madi, tell me a little about yourselves.

Zach: I’ve led a very privileged life as one of the sons of a well-known businessman.  My mother was the glue that kept the family together.  When she died, our world fell apart.

Madi: I have also led a very privileged lifestyle.  I’m the youngest daughter of a socialite mother and a businessman father.   I have two older sisters and we’ve been labeled everything by the media.

Zach: Most of which isn’t good.  They need to get their stories straight before it is reported.

Madi: You’ve said yourself that, before you met me, you believed a lot of what was being circulated.

Zach: And I learned my lesson.

Zach, watching your father grieve must have been difficult.  How did that affect you?

Madi: It nearly wrecked his life.

Zach:  After watching my father suffer after my mother’s death, I equated love with pain and heartache.  I didn’t want a family and I didn’t want children.  I decided to live for the moment and to lose myself in any type of pleasure I could find.

Do you think your well-documented past affects people’s perception of you?

Zach: Certainly. I’ve made mistakes in my life but I make no apologies for who I am.

It is well known that Zach was addicted to sex, drugs, parties, excessive luxury, fast cars, adventurous vacations…

Madi: Zach lived on the edge for a very long time. His reputation as a bad boy is well-earned.

So you’re saying he’s tamed now?

Madi: He’s domesticated but never tamed.

Zach: You wouldn’t want me any other way, love.

Madi: Not at all.

Does it ever concern you that Zach might return to that lifestyle?

Madi: Not any more. And, after what we’ve been through, I have complete faith in him.

Why did you start using drugs in the first place, Zach?

Zach: It was there and available to me.

As were women.

Zach: Yes. I love beautiful women. I’ve been blessed with one of the most beautiful.

Did you give up using and women because of Madigan?

Zach: Women, yes. I refuse to disrespect Madigan and all that we have by sleeping with another woman.  As for drugs, no. I’d stopped using long before I met Madigan.  I had to straighten up after my father’s death.  I had to step up to the plate and run the family company.

Madigan, your mother asked you to run her sex club.  What kind of a mother would ask that of her own daughter?

Madi: A woman with very little motherly instincts. I don’t recognize her anymore. She isn’t the woman who raised me.

You didn’t have to agree to run Wicked Allure.  Why did you? Was it because of Zach?

Zach: Of course.

Madi: He’s so full of himself, isn’t he? He was only part of the reason.  My mother threw down a challenge and I wanted to prove myself to her.

You did use again recently. Why?

Zach: To exorcise thoughts of Madigan. I regret the use that night. I’ve made a pact to myself to never do that again.

You two have agreed to a no-holds barred interview.  So let’s turn to one of your favorite subjects, Zach.

Madi and Zach: Sex

Madi: Subject? I think you mean activity.

Zach: I don’t recall any complaints from you, Madi.

Madigan, Zach is twelve years older than you. You hinted that he wants control in every aspect of his life. Does he dominate you in the bedroom?

Madi: That is one part of our lives that I don’t mind him controlling. He’s an expert lover.  He has tutored my body for his pleasure.

Does the age difference bother you?

Madi: It never bothered me.

Zach: It was a big concern of mine.  I didn’t want to corrupt Madigan.

Madi: You corrupted me the moment I met you.

Did he now? Was it his bad boy reputation that first attracted you to him?

Madi:  A lot of women love bad boys, thinking we can somehow reform them but there was a connection between Zach and I from the moment we met.

Why was it so hard for the two of you two overcome one another?

Zach: Madigan has never been afraid to express her opinions to me or about me.  I admired her determination and spirit.

Madi: Zach can be extremely ruthless.  He wants what he wants when he wants it and no one will stop him from getting it.  Beneath everything, he has a very vulnerable, tender side and he loves his family.

Do you think you and your mother will ever reconcile, Madigan?

Madi: One can only hope.

You’re a grown woman with a life of your own and yet you returned to reconcile with your mother.  Some may see that as a weakness.

Madi: Family is very important to me. I don’t let my mother dictate my life. Not in the least.  But, yes, I would like to have an amicable relationship with my mother.  I think a lot of people will understand that.

What’s next for the two of you?

Madi: Everlasting love.  A lavish wedding and a very bright future.

Zach: Spoiling Madigan.  Planning a very extravagant honeymoon and untold happiness as long as Madigan is at my side.

I want to thank both of you for sitting down for this very enlightening conversation.  We wish you much happiness in the future.

How much fun was that! Now for the Trailer, blurb, bio and Leslie’s pretty picture. Thank you so much Leslie for stopping by today. Thanks to Medi and Zach too 🙂 Now don’t forget to comment for your chance to win an ecopy of Wicked Allure.

Thanks for stopping by for my 100.

She was running out of time. The last thing she wanted was another day on this assignment. Working in her knickers for this dominate guy was rubbing her the wrong way. Each reason surprised her.

The agency expected her to find proof of illegal dealings. She was finding nothing except feelings of desire and respect. None of the things the agency or she wanted.

She didn’t want to be found searching his couch. He may stop trusting her and that would…hurt. She tripped over a section and fell.
