Excerpt:

“You’ve done what?” Cade Avery yelled, fixing his long-time friend and colleague, Mary Summers, with a glare. He slammed his hands down on his desk, making a bunch of pens jump and rattle, and causing water to splash over the side of his glass. “Why the hell would you do such a thing?”

Mary, by now used to Cade’s temper and frequent outbursts, didn’t flinch. Standing firm on the other side of his desk, she calmly stated, “You heard me, Cade. I’ve appointed you a campaign manager. And as for the why, I think it’s pretty damn obvious.”

“Not to me,” he grumbled, snatching a handful of tissues from the box in his top drawer and swiping irritably at the liquid he’d spilled. “Seems like an unnecessary expense.”

With a heavy sigh, Mary replied, “Do you want to win this bloody election or not?”

“Yes, of course I do. What sort of a stupid question is that?”

“Well then, you need a campaign manager. The rest of the team and I already have enough on our plates. We can’t handle that side of things, too. Not to mention the fact that you really need someone with … expertise … in that department. Someone who can boost your public image, make you more likeable … you know, so people will actually vote for you.”

Screwing up the wad of soggy tissue and dumping it in the wastebasket beside him, Cade snapped his gaze to Mary. She stood, the ever-present iPad clutched against her chest, looking as determined and immovable as a five-feet-one, slim thirty-five-year-old was ever going to get.

He sat back in his chair and folded his arms. “What’s wrong with my public image?”

Rolling her eyes heavenward, her body tensing, Mary’s cool demeanor actually looked on the verge of cracking. Taking a deep breath and releasing it, she looked back at him. “Give me strength, Cade. Are you fucking serious?”

She may have used the deep breath and probably a considerable amount of willpower to dampen down her physical reaction to his question, but her actual words gave her true state of mind away. As a rule, the word “bloody” was as bad as it got for Mary. To have enticed a “fucking” out of her, and within the same conversation, no less, meant she was in real danger of losing her temper with him. And despite her diminutive frame and usually chilled-out personality—especially in comparison with his huge frame and fiery personality—when she did lose it, she was utterly terrifying. Possibly the fact that she rarely got angry was what made it so potent when she did. Mary’s ire could turn even the thickest-skinned person into a blubbering wreck.

“Mary,” he cooed, backtracking quickly, “come on, sit down. Why do you always insist on standing up in here?”

“Because, unless we’re having a meeting, I don’t generally need to stay long. I normally impart my information, you give your feedback, and we get on with our day.” She shifted restlessly and narrowed her eyes. “But today, it seems, you’re having a bit of a brain fart. Do I really need to spell it out for you?”

Raising his eyebrows at her increasing irritation, and wondering if there was something going on in her private life that was making her so touchy, he nodded. “Yes, I really think you do.”

A few seconds of silence passed, in which Mary again seemed to be getting a grip on her irritation. She finally said, “All right. But don’t forget; you asked for it.”

New Release! Thief of Hearts by E.D. Parr @parr_books

Thank you for inviting me to your lovely blog with new release, Thief of Hearts.

I loved writing this story. Alex the fun, sexy hero thinks nothing of wandering around on tall buildings both in his day job and in his clandestine antics at night.

Lovely Blake has the wrong idea about himself. The scar on his face is a heavy load for him to carry but hunky Alex sees the beauty before him and falls in love with Blake.

There are some red-hot love scenes but behind them is a love story to make you smile.

Alex isn’t who he first appears to be. Love changes him as much as it lifts Blake from his self-doubt.

I hope that you enjoy their story.

Thief of Hearts

Thirty year old, lawyer, Blake Aster gazes from his high-rise office window wondering if this summer he’ll find love, but deep inside he doubts anyone will ever want him again. He can’t forget the scar he has running the length of his handsome face.

Hunky, daring, Alex Ryan is cleaning the building windows. Struck by the mythical beauty in the Blake’s looks, fun-loving Alex sets out to get Blake’s attention. Maybe a striptease outside Blake’s eighth floor window will do the trick.

M/M erotic romance—contains gay male anal sex, oral sex, partner masturbation in the love scenes

Read a teaser

He checked his coffee. Cool enough to drink. Kathy made the hottest coffee ever. It escaped Blake how she did it. He picked up his favorite stoneware mug and wandered to stare out at the day through the enormous plate glass windows of his eighth-floor office.

He cradled the mug in both hands. A weak sun filtered through dove-gray clouds. Blake longed for summer. Spring was cool and rainy this year. It echoed his forlorn mood most of the time. Summer meant he walked to work and sauntered home in the light evening, stopping to eat at one of the cafés, bistros, or restaurants along the way. Summer meant he might meet a guy in one of those places, if he was lucky. Blake sighed and drank some coffee. It was about time he met a guy and yet he lacked the confidence that anyone would ever want him again. I don’t have the heart to go to bars anymore, and I might run into John.

Lost in reverie, and shielded by the noise reducing double-glazing of the building, he didn’t hear the approach of the suspended scaffold containing the window cleaner. The cradle appeared before him on the other side of the glass and a gorgeous guy stared right at Blake.

Blake’s heart pounded. He had no idea why, except that the young man’s eyes were the bluest he’d ever seen, and the smile that slowly spread over the window cleaner’s face contained undisguised appraisal.

Blake took a step back from the window. He’d moved too quickly and some coffee lurched out of his mug. He shifted sideways to avoid it splashing his pristine white shirt. With a murmur of annoyance, he glanced at the young man on the scaffold.

The blue eyes held mirth, twinkling at him from the deliciously handsome face. The smile became a moue, and the window cleaner gave Blake a hands-out shrug.

Blake read the whole gesture as sympathy, but far from it helping him, he felt like a fool doing a dance of surprise and desperation. He looked down at the dark wave shape on the carpet made by the coffee and sighed. Am I so lonely that the sight of a handsome man turns me into an idiot? Yeah…

In an effort to gain control, Blake dared to lift his gaze to the man outside. He’d expected water to smear the glass, but the guy hadn’t made any effort to clean the window so Blake had a clear view of the striptease the window cleaner engaged in. He lifted the t-shirt he wore at the hem and in a tantalizing move slid it up his torso.

Blake’s mouth watered at the sight of the smooth, muscular chest on display. The man’s jeans rode low and Blake followed the V of his slim hips into the frayed top with greedy eyes. Blake caught his breath at the bulge in the front of the blue pants as the man thrust his hips a little taking the t-shirt over his head before he dropped it beside him onto the cradle floor.

Blake stared in open appreciation of the broad shoulders and muscled arms before him. A sigh escaped him. This man gave him butterflies. Blake’s cock stirred as the guy leaned close to the glass and blew him a kiss. A smile spread over Blake’s face as happiness took him over. He didn’t even care if the guy was mocking him. He allowed himself to enjoy the show.

Publisher: Evernight Publishing

Cover Artist: Jay Aheer

Blurb

In a world where reproduction is the number one priority, a gay wolf shifter could never be an alpha. So Logan hides his secret from the pack and resigns himself to a life without love.

Then one night, he finds his true mate and he’s forced to make a choice.

Excerpt

Logan set Rory on the wood floor. It would do, he’d slept on worse. Logan opened a cedar chest and took out a thick quilt. He laid it on the floor under a window. “It’s late. You can sleep here.” Logan pointed to the coverlet.” If you decide to shift, you can share my bed. It’s big enough for two.”

No thanks. But Rory couldn’t deny that he was tempted as he watched Logan undress. The man was sex on a stick with his strong jaw, straight nose, and dark intense eyes. Why were alphas always so damn good-looking? And straight as an arrow? Probably so they would attract the best bitches in the pack. Rory sighed. Logan looked even better with his clothes off. He had sexy chest hair and a dark curly bush that Rory wanted to bury his nose in. He imagined himself licking that half-hard dick to erectness. Down boy! He was tempted to shift, but good sense won out. If he didn’t stay in his fur, he would really be fucked.

Logan flopped onto the bed and lay flat on his back. He tugged on his cock until it stood straight up like a flagpole. Rory’s penis came out of its sheath and he whimpered. Thankfully, Logan was too busy jacking off to notice.

The Alpha bent his muscular legs and continued stroking his thick cock. The head flushed purple and pre-cum leaked from the slit. The musky scent drove Rory crazy. Slithering on his belly like a snake, Rory inched toward Logan’s dirty clothes on the floor. Rolling on them as best he could, he took comfort in Logan’s scent. But his gaze remained fixed on the man.

Panting now, Logan worked his cock harder and faster, tugging his balls with his other hand. His heavy breathing and the sound of his fist moving up and down his shaft made Rory hot and horny. Logan’s thighs went tense, and his hand moved so fast it blurred.

Rory’s anticipation built as he watched Logan stroke his hard length one final time. Thick threads of cum burst into the air. Rory ached to lick the creamy white liquid off Logan’s chest.

Logan stilled for a few minutes, and then glanced around the room. His eyes lit on Rory humping his jeans. Caught, Rory froze. A sly smile seemed to dance on Logan’s lips. His voice was low and sexy. “Pleasant dreams, boy.” Then he rolled over and promptly fell asleep.

Rory’s canine libido was in overdrive. A little more rubbing action on the denim and he shot his load. Then he settled down on the jeans, and in a few minutes his eyelids grew heavy, and he felt himself drifting off to sleep, too.

heir-evernightpublishing-2016-banner1

Teaser:

For one tense, almost too long moment, Sinclair was rigid against him, the shoulder beneath his hand as hard as marble. Just as Cyril was prepared to pull back, to stammer an apology and find somewhere to hide until his hurt and humiliation had faded, Sinclair moved.

Alpha in all the ways that mattered, Sinclair took control of the kiss with a barely suppressed snarl. His mouth went from passive to aggressive as his arms came up, one large hand cupped the back of Cyril’s neck firmly while the other arm wrapped itself around his waist. Cyril barely had time to blink before he was tugged even closer to the heat of Sinclair’s frame and desire threatened to completely white out his thoughts.

There was a low rumbling growl building in Sinclair’s chest, Cyril could feel it with as close as they were pressed together. Caught up in his lust Cyril couldn’t help but try and press even closer to him. The arm around his waist was a band of steel that clutched him tightly as Sinclair’s tongue swept into his mouth to tangle with his own. Sinclair tasted of mint and hints of spice, chai like the tea he drank in the afternoons.

The arm around his waist moved then. Sinclair’s hand trailed down across his waist and his lower back only to pause long enough to squeeze his ass for a brief moment. Then, with a flex of muscle, Cyril found himself hoisted in the air so that he could wrap his legs around Sinclair’s tapered waist. He groaned at the sensations the new position invoked, at the way Sinclair’s hips fit so nicely between his thighs, even as Sinclair shifted them until Cyril felt a wall at his back.

Sinclair broke the kiss a few seconds later only to nip sharply at Cyril’s bottom lip and duck down so he could mouth wetly at the curve of his throat. Cyril didn’t hesitate to tip his head back as far as he could against the wall behind him, purposefully baring his throat.

Sinclair made a rough growling noise and then his mouth seemed to be everywhere. He sucked harshly at Cyril’s pulse point, ran his tongue across the throbbing vein, nipped at the sensitive skin until Cyril knew he’d have marks. He also knew what the willing and open baring of a throat meant to a wolf.

Trust.

Surrender.

Submission.

After a heady night of love, Josh is devastated when Will turns out to be a millionaire. He’s not a hustler. He couldn’t take and he couldn’t compete. He retreats into his music.

Will is sure they could have something special and tries to prove his love for Josh in the only way he knows how. Trouble is—it’s the wrong way.

Josh is shocked to discover he can’t forget Will.

They want each other. Their chemistry is scorching.

But Josh is running in the opposite direction as Will longs to love him.

Can love triumph?

Read a teaser:

Josh saw Will at one end of the bar and his heart leapt. Flutters started up in his stomach and he took a deep breath trying to steady himself. The encounter had rocked him to the core. He’d never in his wildest dreams expected to feel the way he did about a man whose name he still didn’t know. I want to, though. I want to know all about him. I want him in my life, and from the way he responded, he wants me bad. That’s great. I need it.

He watched the play of emotions cross Will’s face as he approached and stood close.

“Hi. I’m Josh Winters and you are…?” He grinned mischievously.

“Will—Will Trenton.” Will’s eyes held warmth, affection, and desire.

A spark of recognition lit in Josh’s mind. “That’s a familiar name, but I wouldn’t have been able to put a face to it. Are you famous or something?” He gestured to the bartender.

“A beer thanks—and for you?” He gave Will a tender look designed to tell the guy he liked him a lot.

“The same but let me … let me get them.”

Josh shook his head. “We have a tab.”

He saw a look of worry flit through Will’s eyes.

“It’s really okay, Will.” Josh moved even closer to Will. The toe of one boot touched the toe of Will’s. He gazed into Will’s eyes. Time slowed for Josh. This man was even more attractive close up with his handsome face lit by the bar’s sparkling white downlights. He took in the shade of stubble and wanted to bite Will’s chin. He ached to grab Will and thrust his tongue between those perfect lips. He recalled the way Will’s thick hair had felt as he grasped a handful. Softness filled his stomach. He didn’t know if this was love, but it sure was tenderness.

excerpt

“You have family here? Clover East is such a small town. I don’t visit often but I think I know who all the families are around here.”

Nate was tempted to ask if Lucian knew Janette Madison, Nate’s aunt, but he was afraid it would be too soon, too abrupt.

“Nah, I don’t have family here,” he said instead. “I had just thought one of my aunts stopped by this town, but I’m not so sure myself.” There, he had said it.

“You haven’t had any news from your aunt?”

“No.”

“You mean she’s missing or something?” Lucian frowned.

“Honestly, I don’t know if she’s missing or just doesn’t want to be found.”

“Did your family ask you to find her?”

Nate played with his bottle. He wouldn’t look at Lucian. “No one asked me to locate her because there’s no one else out there. She’s the only family I have left. That’s why I wanted to find her.”

Neither spoke after that. When Nate lifted his head, he found Lucian staring blankly at a spot on the table. He wanted to ask about him instead but Nate couldn’t bring himself to open his mouth. His mind was whirling with the thoughts that until now, years after he first came to this city, he still couldn’t find Aunt Janette.

Nate,

I’m sorry about your loss and I’m very sorry I didn’t come to the funeral. I was halfway around the continent and I was quite short of money. But don’t worry about me. I met someone and he asked me to go live with him. I don’t know if you’ve heard of Clover East, a small town in Illinois? I hadn’t, before this. But I have a good feeling about this place, Nate. If you ever want to come to stay with me, you’ll be more than welcome.

“No, she’s definitely missing,” he said suddenly.

“Excuse me?” Lucian looked startled. Nate didn’t blame him.

“She sent me a letter, literally inviting me to be with her.”

“What do you mean — be with you?”

“She met a man who asked her to come to Clover East. She understood I had just lost everyone so she wanted me to stay with her. She sounded so happy at that time. There were no signs that she wanted to hide. Something bad must have happened to her.”

“Did she mention any names?”

Nate shook his head, and practically jumped when Lucian clasped a hand over his. When did he get so close?

“You’re not alone anymore. We’ll search for your aunt and we’re going to find her. Together.”

Nate gawked, first at the hand that was warm against his skin and then up to Lucian’s soft green eyes. The man was nothing like the cold, arrogant one Nate had met earlier that morning. He was almost afraid at the sudden change.

“Uh, thank you, I guess?”

“Does my grandma know about this?”

“No, I never told her.”

“Why didn’t you?”

Nate had never thought about why it had not crossed his mind to talk to Helen about it. She had never asked him why he came to the town, thus, he didn’t feel the need to mention it.

“I don’t know,” he said simply to Lucian.

Lucian pursed his lips. “I just thought it might help, you know. She’s lived here all her life. She must notice when there’s a newcomer in town, especially when the person suddenly disappears.”

“I found it strange,” Nate said slowly, “that no one seemed to hear or see anything about her. It’s like she never set foot in this place.”

“Are you sure she was really here?”

Nate said nothing and took out his cell-phone. He opened the picture albums and scrolled down until he found what he was looking for. He showed the picture to Lucian, who scrutinized it like a doctor checking on a patient on an operation table. Nate could almost see through Lucian’s eyes his aunt smiling at the camera, her long black locks blown by the wind. She posed in Clover East’s city square in front of a group of tables belonging to a café there.

“She was alone.”

“Yeah.” Nate knew exactly what Lucian was thinking. If she’d been with someone, they might have been able to recognize them.

“I wonder who took the picture.”

“She could’ve simply asked a passerby to do it.”

“You’re right.” Lucian gave him back the cell phone. “She only sent you that?”

“Yes, unfortunately.”

“So she was really here but we have no idea for how long and whom she met.”

“I was worried about her.” Nate sighed, and when he looked up, Lucian’s eyes bored into his.

“We’ll tell my grandma when she’s home and start an extensive search.”

Nate didn’t know what to say. He felt as if he was drowning in Lucian’s gaze.

“O-okay,” he said finally, after he realized Lucian had cleared his throat several times, awaiting his response.

“Good.” Lucian heaved a deep breath and stretched out, pulling his arms high above his head, and Nate was unable to keep his eyes off the scrumptious sight. “So, will you stay for dinner?”

Spotlight: The Beta’s Beloved by Rebecca Brochu

A year after Declan Adair crashed into Carson territory and into the alpha Law’s heart things have finally settled down.  Except for the fact that Trace Carson, Law’s brother and right hand wolf, is head over heels for the fiery but skittish Lachlan, Declan’s identical twin brother.  The entire pack, including both of their brothers, knows how Trace feels about Lachlan.  The only problem is that Lachlan seems completely oblivious to Trace’s interest.

Trace, in a final attempt to woo the elusive Lachlan, whisks him away to the northern reaches of the territory and a remote cabin deep in the heart of the forest.  Trace hopes that he can convince Lachlan to give him the chance he needs to prove himself before someone else swoops in and takes his beloved away.  Trace will do anything to prove to Lachlan that he can be the man and the wolf for him.

Excerpt:

They were both panting when he finally broke the kiss. Lachlan’s face was flushed, and his eyes were bright, and he was so beautiful Trace could barely breathe.

“Can I?” Trace asked as he let Lachlan go so he could trail his hands down the smooth line of Lachlan’s chest to fiddle with the waistband of his borrowed sweat pants.

Lachlan nodded his agreement and Trace slowly hooked his fingers in the waistband and pulled them down and off. He tossed the pants in the direction of the couch, attention focused on the way Lachlan’s half hard cock bobbed against the smooth line of his stomach. Trace relished the hiss Lachlan released when he wrapped a hand around his cock and tugged. Lachlan was smooth in his hand, hot and hard and utterly tempting. He swiped his thumb across the head and grinned when Lachlan moaned and bucked up into his grip. Trace watched the way Lachlan’s eyes fluttered closed and couldn’t help but frown lightly at the way he bit lightly at his lower lip in an effort to stay quiet.

“Don’t do that.” Trace thumbed at Lachlan’s mouth with his free hand as he twisted his other to give Lachlan’s cock a firm upstroke. “I want to hear you.”

Lachlan moaned loudly in response, pushed his hips up lightly into the firm grip that Trace had on his cock. He didn’t try to stifle himself again, and Trace had to ignore the way his own cock throbbed with want at the sounds Lachlan emitted as he stroked him.

Trace moved out from between Lachlan’s thighs so he could settle onto the rug beside him. He played with Lachlan lazily for a few moments, did his best to remember every twitch and shudder he managed to wring out of him. Lachlan’s flush grew, spread across the high arches of his cheeks and down his neck and chest. He could smell Lachlan’s arousal in the air still, thicker than ever before, could feel the way Lachlan was approaching the edge, muscles tense and breathing heavy.

Trace pushed him further along with a few more strokes and then he abruptly stopped. Lachlan whined at him in protest, bucked his hips up and tried to entice him back, but Trace just grinned down at into his flushed face. Trace leaned down and took Lachlan’s mouth in another deep kiss. Before he pulled back Trace grabbed one of Lachlan’s hands and guided it towards Lachlan’s cock.

“I want to watch,” Trace rasped. Lachlan jerked and stared up at him in surprise, but Trace just leaned over and ran the flat of his tongue across Lachlan’s nipple. “I want you to do it.”

BLURB

Stay-at-home dad Taylor MacLean chose his life knowing he could rely on the trust fund from his rich grandmother. He didn’t have to work a day in his life. He preferred to take care of his baby daughter Janine and, when he was not busy changing diapers, he would get down to his art studio.

After finishing college, Jamie Selkirk followed his dream to be a photographer. Now working for a famous fashion magazine, Jamie spent more and more of his time away from Taylor and Janine, his husband and daughter. Can the couple learn to put each other first before their marriage begins to crumble?

EXCERPT

Taylor went still for a moment before he let Jamie go. Jamie’s body turned rigid a moment ago, a tell-tale sign every time his boy almost said something important. It disappointed him when Jamie only said that he needed an aspirin. Really, Jamie, an aspirin? Taylor had put a full bottle on the glass table in the living room next to the couch where they both slept last night.

“Go ahead. It’s on the table,” Taylor said in dismissal. “You would’ve seen it if you hadn’t been so busy wanting to throw up.”

Taylor turned around abruptly. He combed his hair back. He’d acted mean and thoughtless. He caught a pained reflection in Jamie’s eyes. Taylor wanted to leave the room, this very second.

“Taylor?” Incomprehension and hurt chased one after another in Jamie’s voice, and Taylor couldn’t take it anymore.

“I heard something. I think Janine’s woken up.”

“Janine.” Jamie’s trembling voice stopped him in his tracks. “I haven’t seen her since … since I don’t remember when.”

Yeah, Taylor knew it must’ve been too long since Jamie saw their daughter. He’d stormed out of the house right after breakfast yesterday morning.

“Don’t you miss her, Jamie? Or is your job and are all those parties still too important for you? More important than your own daughter?” It crossed Taylor’s mind that she was Jamie’s and not his, but he figured it would be mean of him to say that. They’d both agreed to use a surrogate, and they were married. It meant whatever belonged to Jamie belonged to him, too.

“I want to see her,” Jamie said, his voice so thin Taylor thought he was imagining it.

“She’s okay,” he said. “I checked her earlier. She slept through the night while I was down here.” He stopped at once. Jamie didn’t know Taylor slept with him on the couch.

But nothing escaped that pretty head.

“Down here? Were you with me?” Jamie’s face flushed and Taylor wanted to grab him right there.

“Uhh, yeah.”

“Taylor.”

“I just missed you.”

Jamie sniffled, but he stayed still. Taylor balled his fists.

“Aw, what the hell.” He lunged forward at Jamie right at the same time as Jamie moved toward him. They met halfway, grasped each other’s face, and mashed their lips together.

“Wait a minute.” Jamie pulled back, gasping.

“What? Jamie?”

“I have to tell you something.”

“No, you don’t. I missed you. You’re all I want.”

“I need to tell you I’m sorry. I’m sorry I neglected Janine and you. I won’t do that again, ever.”

Taylor cupped Jamie’s face. “You don’t need to apologize.”

“Yes, I do.”

“Then I’m sorry, too.”

“What for?”

“I ignored what my husband needed.”

Jamie smiled. “So do you forgive me?”

Taylor swept him off his feet and grazed his lips lightly against Jamie’s.

“I already have.”

Taylor kissed deeper and drank in everything he could. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d kissed Jamie. All the models in the world and their neighbors could want him, but Jamie belonged to him.

About the Author:

Iyana lives in Jakarta, a city famous for its traffic jams, a lot of cars and motorcycles, and people selling stuff on the roads. You can spend two hours on the road going to a place you can reach in half an hour in a normal situation. Thanks to the traffic jams, though, Iyana can come up with a lot of stories, mostly shorties, as she prefers to spend the time during her trips writing into her cell phone rather than sleeping.

Another thing Iyana loves is kitties. Right now she has five of them. Their names are Larva, Nyil, Cil, Mermood, and Horus. When she doesn’t write, she plays with them, or they would play with her when she writes.

Can the grieving brother and damaged soldier find the peace they so desperately need? Or will they become another statistic when the aftermath of war hits too close to home?

They might have shipped the soldier home, but his demons have come with him.

******

Excerpt:

Kyle took a deep breath to steady his excitement then slowly unfastened Ryder’s jeans. He pulled them down just a bit, low enough to remove the semi-hard cock from Ryder’s boxers. The shaft stiffened in the palm of Kyle’s hand, and he liked the feel of the delicate flesh against his own skin. He slowly tightened his gripped and began to stroke.

“Shit.” Ryder moaned again, and rolled his hips.

Kyle watched Ryder’s expression as his movements hastened. Ryder, this strong, mountain of a man, who dominated the basketball court, and practically mopped the floor with Kyle every time they played, literally melted in Kyle’s hand.

Exhilarated by that extra confidence, Kyle found the courage to take the next step. The natural step he’d wanted to take since he first laid eyes on the other man’s cock. Kyle licked his lips, then flicked the head of Ryder’s dick with his tongue.

Ryder shuddered.

Kyle lapped the salty surface of Ryder’s crown then encircled it with his lips, until he lowered his head, and drew half of the fleshy shaft into his mouth.

“Fuck.”

Kyle’s ears rang, and his heartbeat boomed like a bass drum inside his head. The more he sucked in, the louder Ryder’s groans became, thrilling Kyle even more.

Ryder made a hissing sound. “Careful with the teeth.”

Kyle corrected his technique and covered the thick shaft with his lips instead, then dove back down for another plunge.

“Mmm.” Ryder bucked his hips, forcing himself deeper into Kyle’s mouth. “Yeah, that’s it.”

Kyle’s eyes watered as Ryder’s cock bumped the back of his throat, flooding his mouth with Ryder’s salty-sweet essence.

Ryder grasped the back of Kyle’s head and shoved himself in harder. “Feels so fucking good.”

Kyle gripped the base, and used his hand to jack Ryder off as he continued to suck and lick, until Ryder abruptly pulled back, and stopped him.

“What?” Kyle’s mind whirled, and he fought to take Ryder’s cock back into his mouth.

Ryder’s stomach muscles rolled, and his breathing deepened. He inhaled deeply before speaking. “You’ve seriously never done this before?” Disbelief resonated in his tone.

Was he serious? He’s asking this now? “Never.”

“Shit.” Ryder licked his lips, his eyes glazed over. “So that means,” Ryder skimmed his thumb over Kyle’s tingling bottom lip, “nobody’s ever done it to you either.”

Kyle drew in a deep breath, doing his best not to bust a nut just at the thought of it. “No.”

A gleam sparked in Ryder’s eyes “Lie back.”

Chills wreaked havoc across Kyle’s flesh. Oh shit.

Ryder’s eyes danced back and forth as though searching Kyle’s for an answer to a question he hadn’t bothered to ask. His brow bunched, and he eased closer. “Just don’t forget to breathe.”

A Blog Takeover by Morgan King Author of With His Handy Man

Hi, I’m Morgan and Moving On…With His Handy Man is my first All Male Romance. Surprisingly it’s also my most personal story yet. It was written from a single moment of feeling, in this case: my ex is seeing someone else it’s time to move on, how in hell do I do that? The answer for me was to write this story. For me this means the characters are very real. I hope they feel that way to you too.

Blurb:

Tom is gutted when his business partner and ex- boyfriend Liam tells him he is seeing someone else. Tom and Liam’s relationship has been over for more than year, but it is this news that convinces Tom it is time to move on with his own life and he finally finds he courage to do something out of character: ask the handyman out.

Jax hasn’t tried to hide the fact that he’s smitten with Tom and he’s thrilled that Tom has finally put Liam to one side and is showing an interest in him. He’ll grab his chance to date Tom with both hands! However, he likes Tom enough to want to be more than just a rebound fling.

Can Tom truly let go off his feelings for Liam, and will Jax have a chance to win the battered and bruised heart of his boss?

Excerpt:

“I don’t mind being the guy you experiment with, even if it’s rebound, even if it’s tit for tat with Liam for finding someone else, as long as that’s not all it is. I really like you, if that wasn’t obvious enough.” Jax said.

Tom gave a sigh of relief, “I really like you, too, and thank you for saying yes.”

“I’m sure it should be me thanking you. You are my superior after all. I’m just the handy man.”

Flirting, I can do this. “And a very fine handy man you are, too.” If he’d been typing Tom would have added a winking emoticon, but as it was he couldn’t pull the real thing off, so he’d just have to hope Jax got the message.

“Perhaps you’d let me thank you and demonstrate just how handy I am.” Jax walked towards Tom as he spoke, not just right up to the other side of the desk, but all around it, invading Tom’s personal space, so that Tom had to lean back to look up. That was until Jax got down on his knees in front of him.

Was Jax doing what Tom thought he was? Hoped he was? Was this how two people who weren’t dating had sex for the first time? Tom had always wondered how two people went from chatting to more. The first time for him and Liam had been after a great deal of build up. They’d been friends who had decided to take it one step further, and the act itself had been well planned. They’d also never had sex in the office before. Given they owned the building it had always struck Tom as a tragedy.

Tom’s mind might not be up to speed with how quickly Jax was moving, but his cock certainly was. It was pumped up and ready to go, pushing against his slacks and trying to get his attention.

It appeared to have Jax’s attention. He reached one hand out to caress Tom’s cock through the silky material. “A good workman needs good tools, and this one feels like it might just suit me.” With heart-pounding slowness, at least in Tom’s body, Jax pulled down Tom’s zipper. Tom’s cock surged forward for one brief moment, but remained restrained by his cotton underwear.

“Here, wait a minute,” Tom said, and then when Jax instantly shifted back, a look of hurt rejection in his eyes, he went on. “No, I don’t want you to stop, I just thought it’d be easier if I…” He leaned his hips up and shimmied his trousers and trunks over his hips, down to mid-thigh, demonstrating his intention before resting his naked butt back on the cool leather of the seat.

There was no way he wanted Jax to stop.

“Ah well, that does make my job easier.”

Jax grinned up at Tom, flashing his sexier than any one man deserved to have dimples. He knelt just looking at Tom’s cock for what felt like an eternity to Tom, every second marked by the pulse throbbing through the long vein running down the underside of his cock, and an increase in size, centimetre by centimetre. If his penis hadn’t measured just over nine inches from root to tip he might have been getting an inferiority complex.

Other Info about me:

Well I like to see myself as an infinitely patient single mother and charity manager by day and reader and writer of erotic romance by night. I love all genres of romance, but have a special tendre for historical stories having been seduced by Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer at a young age. I even named my dog Darcy.

My son is a very imaginative five year old, so when the characters aren’t having conversations in my head I’m voicing the character of a witch, dragon, pirate or possibly knight. Yes, I always get to be the bad guy for some reason! We live in the rural East of England not far from the forest so there are always plenty of opportunities for adventure.

Other Books:

Duty to Love, 5*reader rated, ARe and Bookstrand bestselling erotic regency ménage romance. http://amzn.to/1578Dtb

Her Type of Guy, anthology of erotic short stories, something for everyone. http://amzn.to/12g5Hfs

An Unconditional Courtship, a short sweet regency romance. http://amzn.to/177IKz6

Some questions I’ve answered:

Do you have anything in common with your characters?

I think a writer puts a bit of themselves into every character, male or female. I don’t think I have too much in common with many of my characters, except thinking about it I have a forthcoming story (4th July) entitled Moving On: With His Handyman and although this is about two men the motivation for the story was the feelings I had in common with one of the characters… (if you read it and want to know more just e-mail me!)

What’s the strangest (bravest, funniest etc) thing you’ve ever done?

There’s actually a few to pick from, the one I’ve chosen is maybe strange, maybe funny, but only if you have a warped sense of humour like me and in this case two of my friends.

For some reason we decided it would be funny to play a prank on the University Chaplain, so I convinced a security guard that I had left my purse in the Chaplain’s office and when allowed back in to look in for it slipped the catch on his window. That night we spent hours blowing up balloons before carrying them across campus in black bin bags, opening the unlatched window from the outside, and pushing them all through. Okay there weren’t so many that he couldn’t walk in, but there was certainly no floor to be seen. The next day we staked out his office till he arrived. His expression: priceless!!!

When did you write your first book (and is it published)?

Not long ago! Duty to Love was my first book and was released with Evernight in February. It’s an erotic regency ménage J

Who are some of your favorite authors?

I read far too much, before I started writing it had got to be a bit of an addiction, seriously, so I could write a very long list, I’ll try to keep it short!

Michel Faber, Ian McEwan, Philippa Gregory, Tracey Chevalier, Jonathon Kellerman, Faye Kellerman, Michael Connolly, Harlen Coben, Jane Austen, Daphne Du Maurier, Lauren Dane, Maya Banks, Christine Feehan, Elizabeth Hoyt, J.R. Ward.

That’s the really short list!

What’s your guiltiest pleasure?

Yorkshire Puddings filled with cream cheese and blueberries, especially if they are for breakfast, because I’ve run out of milk and bread! (Yes they are frozen batters, as I’ve run out of milk).

Who did you dedicate your first book to?

A few people, but mainly a teacher that meant a lot to me and a group of women that like to talk sex 😉

I am now taking requests; my sister very specifically wants me to dedicate my forthcoming naughty fairytale No Rest for the Prince’s Virgin to her.

How do you come up with inspiration for your books?

I tend to play the What If game in my head all the time and turn the answers into stories.

What’s the hardest part of writing?

Some days just making yourself write, or researching facts, although personally I could never have been a writer before Google and Wikipedia. That and the consequences of writing, waiting to see if anyone likes your stories!

What are your fondest memories of reading?

My whole family loves books, so they were a big part of my childhood growing up. I still remember my mum recording (onto cassette tape!) The Witches, by Roald Dahl, for me to listen to in the car or in bed when she wasn’t available to read to me.

That was fun!

Thank you, Morgan, for taking over for me today. 😀 I love that you interviewed yourself. I’ll have some Yorkshire Puddings too, please. It’s the perfect treat for me while I sit around reading today. Love blog takeovers, lol!
