LOOK! A Writing Challenge with Taking Chances

The never to back down, martini lovin, Sandra Bunino has handed me a LOOK writing challenge and I’m up for it, I think, lol.

Here’s the details (which I get to share with five fabulous authors): Find the LOOKs in your current WIPs AND post the paragraphs around the word. Choose your favorite THREE, because everyone has to have at least three, in your WIP to post.

Best part is sharing the love with some of my favorite writers, they’re each worth checking out:

Dara Ames ~ Dianne Hartsock ~ Jenny Hickman ~  Naomi Shaw ~ Savannah Chase

I had no trouble finding three in my WIP Taking Chances:

#1 comes from Chapter 1 and is in Jake’s POV

Get control of yourself man, there will be no fucking. It was a pity, because the curve of her beautiful, full behind would look amazing with the red impression of his hand. She had the perfect pale skin to pinkin.

#2 comes from Chapter 2 and is in Lydia’s POV

He turned to look out the window. When he didn’t say anything right away, she took advantage and continued to watch him. His gaze became captivated by the ravine and his expression softened.

#3 comes from Chapter 3, you get two looks this time, JOY :), and is in Jake’s POV, but the line is Lydia’s

“Ha, easy for you to say.” She looked up at him. “What is it? What are you looking at, do I have something on my face?”

Before he could stop himself, he sat beside her and his inquisitive finger reached out and rubbed the corner of her mouth. His finger hovered between them, an inch from her mouth. She licked her lips, seconds ticked by. Nothing in the room captured his attention, but her devilish mouth. Her tongue reached out and licked his finger. It took forever for his hand to return to his side, the air between them had become thick with heat. He couldn’t tear his sight from her beautiful hazel eyes.

Hope you enjoyed my share. Big thanks to Sandra, that was fun. Be sure to check out Sandra (all her books are must reads in my book) and all the authors listed above. Besides being talented writers these ladies are some of the nicest around.

Six Sentence Sunday #36 – False cocoon

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting this week and I’d love to know what you think. I have another 6 from my latest Novella BDSM WIP. It’s a sequel to the WIP I have been sharing these past many weeks. Last Week: while in Chicago for a conference, Janna gets a chance to enter a BDSM club for the first time. She’s found her escort in Master Simon. Over the last couple of 6s she took on her first order and received yummy after care. This Week: in pretty much the very next 6, Janna continues her line of thought while bundled in Simon’s lap and covered in a warm blanket.

She would never see him again, not after she told him the truth. The heat in her body turned to ice. Tears threaten to escape like the nagging truth trying to break free. Her head lowered and she huddled underneath the false cocoon.

“Look at me, pet.”

He knew, she was a cheat and he knew.

Don’t count yourself out just yet, Janna. Come on girl, fight for what you want.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. Don’t forget to check out the other Six Sunday authors. Lots of good stuff at Six Sunday and its days are now sadly numbered. I’m not crying. Try to find a new favorite today. happy hunting!

Flash Fiction #25 – Passing the test

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

“You have to help me with the decision, Jeremy.” She tugged on her best friend’s hand pulling him deeper into the store.

“Sure, we’ll use my three-point test.” He pushed his hands into the first mattress kneading the pillow top. “This one feels good in my hands, but after awhile it’ll feel like imitation, kind of like implants.”

“Do all your tests translate through sex?”

“Sara, nothing much matters without sex.” He climbed into the next bed.

She followed him in and ignored the nagging instinct to remain quiet, to remain just friends. “Do your tests not apply to me?”

Six Sentence Sunday #35 – Who’s the fighter?

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting this week and I’d love to know what you think. I have another 6 from my latest Novella BDSM WIP. It’s a sequel to the WIP I have been sharing these past many weeks. Last Week: while in Chicago for a conference, Janna gets a chance to enter a BDSM club for the first time. She’s found her escort in Master Simon. Over the last couple of 6s she took on her first order and last week she was on the receiving end of yummy after care. This Week: in pretty much the very next 6, Janna takes a peek at the situation she’s gotten herself in.

The evening could have gone a hundred different ways, but Simon was put in her path and everything turned out better than she dreamed.

She owed him.

Her head crept up enough to allow her a peek through her eye lashes. He was handsome in a stern sort of way. The flat nose declared him a fighter.

Would he fight for me?

Oh, Janna, are you still dreaming or are you going to possibly fight for what you want this time?

Flash Fiction #24 – The coffee job

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

“I’m not going out with you, so stop asking. And give me back my coffee.”

“Why not? I’m a good looking charming guy with a good job. Let me at least feed you.”

“Cause that’s what every woman wants, to be fed?”

“I can think of a few other things women want.” He peered across the stolen coffee cup to her cleavage.

“You’re a shit, Tim.” She couldn’t help but to laugh with the guy. “It took your dirty mind six-seconds.”

“Nothing of the sort, my mind’s been in the gutter since you bent over to fetch the coffee grinder.”

Six Sentence Sunday #34 – Imagination and longing

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting this week and I’d love to know what you think. I have another 6 from my latest Novella BDSM WIP. It’s a sequel to the WIP I have been sharing these past many weeks. Last Week: while in Chicago for a conference, Janna gets a chance to enter a BDSM club for the first time. She’s found her escort in Master Simon and she’s gotten her first glimpse of real scenes. In last week’s 6 she took on her first order, stripping for the Dom. This Week: oh, we skipped some yummy parts, sorry, and I give you the 6 following Janna’s first scene.

“Come on, let’s get you something to drink.” He turned, tugged on her hand, and they made their way to the couch.

She dreamed of after care, the tender moments filled her imagination with longing. She climbed into his lap and snuggled against him, eager to be held. She pressed her ear into his chest to get closer, his heart beat steady and strong filling her with strength. He pulled a blanket from somewhere and draped her, sealing the cocoon.

I’m happy for Janna, she made a huge step. So, do you think I’m going to be able to keep Janna happy? I give you one guess.

Flash Fiction #23 – Slink into the silk

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

Free image courtesy of FreeDigitalPhotos.net

One way or another she would get the picture. It didn’t matter how long it took, or so she thought when she started the morning with a new getup.

“Erin, try lying down and I can get a shot of you from overhead.”

“I’m not sure—

“Erin.” Her buddy disappeared, replaced by the Master she didn’t know. “Relax, sweetheart, and let me take a stab at it.”

She slinked down into the silk that made her slip and let go of the items she’d been struggling to hold. She let it go and looked into the lens.

“That’s it, beautiful.”

Six Sentence Sunday #33 – She melts

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting this week and I’d love to know what you think. I have another 6 from my latest Novella BDSM WIP. It’s a sequel to the WIP I have been sharing these past many weeks. Last Week: while in Chicago for a conference, Janna gets a chance to enter a BDSM club for the first time. She’s found her escort in Master Simon and she’s gotten her first glimpse of real scenes. In last week’s 6 she took on her first order, stripping for the Dom. This Week: we continue were I left you last week.

With the last of her clothes set on the table, she straightened her back and let her shoulders fall.

Simon stalked towards her, stopped about a foot away, tempting her. “Well done, pet.”

She melted on the inside and swayed her hips as warmth filled her core. His gaze released her and she stood silent as he looked her over. Nerves threatened to walk back in, but she barred the way.

Not sure how much longer she’s going to be able to keep this up. It’s about to get interesting.  Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. Six Sentence Sunday #32 – Dancing nerves

In last week’s 6 Simon offered to be her Dom for her last night in Chicago. This Week: I’ve propelled us forward a couple pages and gotten us to the point where Simon has requested her to remove her clothes.

She needed to reveal her body, not to the room, to this man…correction, this Dom.  She was not leaving without giving this a real try. She reached back and unclipped her bra, her free arm held the cups and smashed them into her chest. After one more deep breath, her fingers clawed around the bra cups and pulled revealing her small breasts. Cool air swirled around her tender, tight nipples. His gaze remained unmoved from hers, could he see the nerves dancing along her skin?

I hope she doesn’t pass out before she completes her first set of orders. 🙂  Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. Flash Fiction #22 – Something in common

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

Free image courtesy of FreeDigitalPhotos.net

She knew the day would come when he wouldn’t be there, but she didn’t want today to be the day. Each morning she watched him wake and stretch and walk deliciously from his bedroom, exposing himself along the way. She’d begun planning her mornings around his delectable derriere when she first detected him last month.

“Damn, he’s not there.” Disappointment left her slouching in her seat.

“Were you looking for me?”

His body filled her office and his voice echoed in her mind. How had he found her out?

“You’re not the only one with a pair of those, sweetheart.”
