Six Sentence Sunday #17

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake claiming he wouldn’t let go if Lydia poked him in the chest again. In today’s 6: Lydia has just escaped to the bathroom to wash her hands and to examine her latest thought of seducing Jake. Now for 6 from Jake’s POV.

The dom in him was aching to get out and not simply because he found her attractive. Something in her demeanor pulled on him and commanded him to push her limits. His fist hit the table, frustration swept through his body. It was hard to ignore his instincts. Even now he wanted to go to her and help. God help him, he wanted to touch her again.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. Don’t forget to check out the other Six Sunday authors. Lots of good stuff at Six Sunday. Try to find a new favorite today. happy hunting!

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake watching Lydia lick the bbq lunch from her fingers. Today: the two have been talking about several things and it lead to Lydia poking Jake in the chest from some comment he has made.

Her smile disappeared when he took hold of her finger. It must have been contagious, because his face lit up. She tried to yank her finger from his grasp, but it seemed to only encourage him to increase his hold.

“Hey, you let go,” she said laughing and continued struggling to regain control over her finger. His amused expression made her giggle.

“Okay, sorry, but don’t poke me, next time I might not be willing to let go.”

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake as he was about to take a cold shower. While Jake was gone a bbq lunch was delivered and he returns to find Lydia enjoying her lunch.

The numbing effects of his cold shower were quickly nullified at the sight of Lydia licking her finger. Her tongue kept escaping her mouth to smother her finger in quick caresses. Wet fingers could do a lot of naughty things and his mind wanted to think of them all. They had a lot of work to do this afternoon and his thoughts needed to stay on the task in front of them. Why did she have to keep licking her finger like that? He had never been so envious of a finger.

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. It has been a couple of weeks, here’s my last six to refresh your memory. I left Jake stumbling in his attempt to keep his thoughts on the job. He’s left the room with the excuse of ordering them lunch, instead he’s set out for a cold shower.

“Hey there, Jake, how’s it going with the little betty?” Keller jabbed.

“Just great”

“I’ve got the towels set out for you, go on, take a quick shower and calm yourself. I’ll have Anne order you two up some lunch.”

“Thanks Keller, I want to strangle you, but thanks.”

“Hey, don’t mention it, just remember to invite me to the collaring ceremony,” Keller joked.

Happy Six Sunday, thanks for visiting and commenting!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Lydia has gotten excited enough to lean forward and point something out to Jake. Lydia is working hard & Jake well, you’ll see…

“Right here, Jake, we need to add a screen print right here so they don’t get confused.”

She was beautiful in her convictions, but it was the slope of her neck to her shoulder that captured his attention. It would not take much effort to hold her to the spot and lick the junction into his greedy mouth.

“Do you agree, Jake?”

Was she begging him? “Lunch,” he choked.

Something tells me lunch isn’t going to cool this guy off. Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. Six Sentence Sunday #12

Happy Six Sunday, thanks for visiting AND commenting!! I’m continuing this week with 6 from my Novella WIP. Jake and Lydia are in the room where they will be working on a new project. Lydia has been working desperately to quiet her internal fantasies & Jake has been trying to remember to keep his hands off Lydia. The two seem to be doing a bang up job of crossing their signals, lets see if they do any better this week…

“Let’s start by creating a list of policies we need and then we’ll start writing. I want to get a couple started before we order lunch,” he grumbled.

“Lunch, well I…,” she attempted to explain her lunch was in the frig down the hall, but stopped short when their eyes locked.

“Forget your lunch plans; you’re not leaving my side until we’re done here.”

The demand made her heart leap in her chest and heat pool in her core. She wondered what excited her more, time with Jake or the threat shining in his dark eyes.

Hmm, is Jake turning on his dominate side unknowingly and does he realize she likes it? Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. Six Sentence Sunday #11

I missed the last couple of Six Sentence Sundays due to a wonderful vacation, or was that a day-dream? No, because a day-dream would have better coffee 🙂 I survived my in-laws pre-ground coffee and do have many precious memories stored away.

Anyways, I’m back at it and continuing this week with 6 from my Novella WIP. I left Jake and Lydia in the room where they will be working on a new project. Lydia has been working desperately to quiet her internal fantasies & Jake has been trying to remember to keep his hands off Lydia. They are both now standing at the window looking out over the ravine… and now for another 6

“I’m sorry, just lost in my thoughts,” she rushed to reassure him. “Sometimes I get lost in the view,” she was not at all tempted to return her gaze to the woods.

“I remember when that tree fell a couple years ago. I’m glad they haven’t  taken it away,” he murmured.

“Agreed, sometimes things should be left alone.”

Jake looked at her like she had slapped him.

Oh boy, I think these two are going to be getting their signals crossed. Well come back next week and see what I reveal next.

Six Sentence Sunday #10

Double digits, yeah!! I’m having a lot of fun being a part of six Sunday and I’m learning a lot too, which is most excellent. No hesitation, I’m jumping in again.

Last week we left Lydia in The Room trying to pull her thoughts together and prepare for the project she and Jake have to tackle. Jake has just entered and Lydia is still at the window looking out over the ravine.

A strong wind tore through the ravine and forced the trapped air to rush from her lungs. The wind was out of her control and it created an excitement in the outside scene. Lydia was rocked by the unexpected change the sight ignited in her fantasy. The intensity was changing and she was having a hard time calming her breathing.

A warm hand pressed into her back shaking her from her heated dream.

“Lydia, are you ok?” Jake questioned.

So there you have it, they’ve both made it to the room. Not sure if either of them are ready to get any work done. Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Six Sentence Sunday #9

Last week Jake entered THE room and we learned of some of his troubles. Now it’s Lydia’s turn…

She heard the door open, but was hesitant to turn around and see the man standing behind her.

Lydia didn’t often have trouble turning off her internal fantasies.

Jake’s darkening eyes were all her mind could see.

Standing at the window, staring at the trees as they swayed in the wind was not helping.

Usually the site of the ravine behind their building calmed her nerves.

Lydia imagined her body rocking against Jake in a steady rhythm that matched the sway of the trees.

I’m pretty sure Lydia is in trouble too, but you’ll have to come back next week to find out more! Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. Six Sentence Sunday #8

In the last three weeks we’ve learned Lydia and Jake are about to spend some lengthy time together locked in a room and working on a project. In the previous 6s we’ve gotten a glimpse at both Lydia’s and Jake’s first thoughts. This week we continue in Jake’s head as he enters THE room.

He returned to the conference room early with the excuse of clearing the table.

Maybe his mind would calm down by doing the mindless task.

The door opened to reveal Lydia with her back to him across the room.

His body heated at the sight of her.

She was looking out the window, but all he could look at was the slope of her neck.

He was in a lot of trouble.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d really like to know what you think of my 6 & the picture of Jake. He’s cute and sexy, right? I love comments and I love to respond to my comments too.
