Six Sentence Sunday #21

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week: over the last two weeks actually, Jake has been rolling out his plan. Lydia has been anything but scared away. This week: they’ve just made plans to go back to her place…after they get their work done. He’s taken hold of her hand and it’s taken both of their attentions.

A humming filled her whole body with contentment. She felt at home in his firm grip. His thumb caressed the back of her hand. Her knees threatened to soften, but her shoulders straightened fueling her strength.

She tugged on his hand and dragged him back to the table. “Let’s get back to work so we can get out of here.”

I like the way she thinks. Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. I have good news to share. I sent this WIP I’ve been sharing to my friend for its first non-me read through. YEAH!! Gosh I hope she likes it. I’ll let you know.

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week: Jake started to roll out his plan. He scolded, stalked, & invaded her space and did any of it scare Lydia? Hell no, she asked if there was anything else. This week: we pick up with the very next 6.

And there it was again, his eyes darkened into deep erotic pools of promise. She wanted to watch his eyes for the rest of eternity. Heat rolled off his body, seeped into her, and pulled her closer. His hand, still under her chin, snaked around to cup her nape locking her in place. Her breasts pressed into his chest, there was no denying her need to be touched. He removed the last bit of space between them and pressed his hard length into her belly.

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week: Jake created his fool proof plan, or was it an excuse to touch Lydia again? Men, got to love ‘um. This week: as Lydia walks back into the room Jake is waiting for her and accuses her of holding out on the team. He tells her she can come to him with anything and he stalks towards her. She agrees to be honest next time.

“That’s all I’m asking for.” He stopped in front of her and tilted her chin up with his finger.

“Next time I’ll come to you.” She searched his eyes for they seemed to be saying more. She bit her lower lip and held her breath in an attempt to hold onto the shared moment. “Is there anything else, Jake?”

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake frustrated and working a little too hard on hiding his Dom instincts. In today’s 6:  Lydia is still out washing up from lunch and Jake has convinced himself Lydia is not for him.

He knew just how to prove himself right. His dominate side was itching to get out anyway. He would ease off on the reins and give her a little scare. It was a desperate man who willingly tried to scare a woman, a decision he feared he’d regret. Lydia’s vanilla nature would help prove him right and then he would let go of his fascination. The plan was simple and fool proof.

Famous last words for a Dom heading smack dab into something he’s not expecting. I wonder what Lydia is thinking at this very moment?… Come back next week, pretty please.

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake claiming he wouldn’t let go if Lydia poked him in the chest again. In today’s 6: Lydia has just escaped to the bathroom to wash her hands and to examine her latest thought of seducing Jake. Now for 6 from Jake’s POV.

The dom in him was aching to get out and not simply because he found her attractive. Something in her demeanor pulled on him and commanded him to push her limits. His fist hit the table, frustration swept through his body. It was hard to ignore his instincts. Even now he wanted to go to her and help. God help him, he wanted to touch her again.

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake watching Lydia lick the bbq lunch from her fingers. Today: the two have been talking about several things and it lead to Lydia poking Jake in the chest from some comment he has made.

Her smile disappeared when he took hold of her finger. It must have been contagious, because his face lit up. She tried to yank her finger from his grasp, but it seemed to only encourage him to increase his hold.

“Hey, you let go,” she said laughing and continued struggling to regain control over her finger. His amused expression made her giggle.

“Okay, sorry, but don’t poke me, next time I might not be willing to let go.”

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake as he was about to take a cold shower. While Jake was gone a bbq lunch was delivered and he returns to find Lydia enjoying her lunch.

The numbing effects of his cold shower were quickly nullified at the sight of Lydia licking her finger. Her tongue kept escaping her mouth to smother her finger in quick caresses. Wet fingers could do a lot of naughty things and his mind wanted to think of them all. They had a lot of work to do this afternoon and his thoughts needed to stay on the task in front of them. Why did she have to keep licking her finger like that? He had never been so envious of a finger.

Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. It has been a couple of weeks, here’s my last six to refresh your memory. I left Jake stumbling in his attempt to keep his thoughts on the job. He’s left the room with the excuse of ordering them lunch, instead he’s set out for a cold shower.

“Hey there, Jake, how’s it going with the little betty?” Keller jabbed.

“Just great”

“I’ve got the towels set out for you, go on, take a quick shower and calm yourself. I’ll have Anne order you two up some lunch.”

“Thanks Keller, I want to strangle you, but thanks.”

“Hey, don’t mention it, just remember to invite me to the collaring ceremony,” Keller joked.

Happy Six Sunday, thanks for visiting and commenting!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Lydia has gotten excited enough to lean forward and point something out to Jake. Lydia is working hard & Jake well, you’ll see…

“Right here, Jake, we need to add a screen print right here so they don’t get confused.”

She was beautiful in her convictions, but it was the slope of her neck to her shoulder that captured his attention. It would not take much effort to hold her to the spot and lick the junction into his greedy mouth.

“Do you agree, Jake?”

Was she begging him? “Lunch,” he choked.

Something tells me lunch isn’t going to cool this guy off. Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. Happy Six Sunday, thanks for visiting AND commenting!! I’m continuing this week with 6 from my Novella WIP. Jake and Lydia are in the room where they will be working on a new project. Lydia has been working desperately to quiet her internal fantasies & Jake has been trying to remember to keep his hands off Lydia. The two seem to be doing a bang up job of crossing their signals, lets see if they do any better this week…

“Let’s start by creating a list of policies we need and then we’ll start writing. I want to get a couple started before we order lunch,” he grumbled.

“Lunch, well I…,” she attempted to explain her lunch was in the frig down the hall, but stopped short when their eyes locked.

“Forget your lunch plans; you’re not leaving my side until we’re done here.”

The demand made her heart leap in her chest and heat pool in her core. She wondered what excited her more, time with Jake or the threat shining in his dark eyes.

Hmm, is Jake turning on his dominate side unknowingly and does he realize she likes it? Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6.
