Welcome, I’m so glad you came. Today, I’m sharing from my new release, In the Blind. This past week, I shared one scene from two different points of view that shows a bit of what it took to open Club Blind. You can find them here and here.

This Week: I’m skipping back to the first chapter. Jane has just started her first evening at Club Blind. She may not be able to see her partner for the evening, but it doesn’t seem to be slowing them down. Pleasure right ahead. Enjoy!

His touch disappeared and an arm wrapped around her neck, the other under her knees and he swept her up. Before she could wrap her arms around him, he set her on something firm and soft. She remembered reading each room was furnished with a mattress and fitted sheet on a simple frame. The only other thing in the room was a side table holding a bowl full of condoms.

She’d worried she’d get cold with no blankets to cover them. She understood now it was a needless worry. The heat running through her body reminded her of a hot summer day. The bed dipped slightly near her feet, and instinctively, she spread her legs.

Mid Week Tease – An Extra Scene from Club Blind

Welcome to a very special hump day. Thank you to the creative Sandra Bunino for bringing us together.

I haven’t ~~written~~ finished a paranormal story, but I do have this new club that could have a spooky element if I wasn’t such a romance writer. So, I’ve decided to indulge today and give you a peek at the next couple on my erotic romance to do list and show you a bit of the work that went into opening Club Blind.

Gina ran down the stairs armed with her directive from Master Keller, but also to finally find out what Marcus was up to. She had no idea why he ranked so high on Keller’s list. If Marcus was up to something shady, she’d make sure he answered for it.

Keller told her she’d find Marcus in the basement. She opened the heavy door to the final set of stairs and found the first bland looking corner of the building. The walls were cinder-block and the stairs were nothing but wood planks. She searched for a light switch and found none, luckily there was just enough light. She skipped down a couple steps, eager to complete her mission. The door shut behind her with a quite whoosh and then nothing. She no longer heard the club members or the music from the club above.

Once at the bottom of the stairs, she was greeted by more cinder-block, these were painted black. There were a few naked light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, but still no light switches. The hall was lined with doorways and they all seemed to open to the same emptiness, black rooms with no doors.

“What is this place?” A sinking feeling filled her gut. She searched the corners for cobwebs and found none, not even a speck of dust on the cold dark floor. She did find one door in the long hall. Slowly, she pushed it open and revealed an overly white space filled with lockers and then the lights went out.

“Shit.” She let the door close and backed up a step into the hallway. “Marcus.” She looked left, right and saw nothing but black. She closed her eyes and felt her way to the hallway wall. Soothing music poured into the space. She couldn’t place the speakers. They seemed to be surrounding her.

There were times in her life she hadn’t felt safe and she told herself this wasn’t one of them. Her heartbeat continued its rise. She was still in Keller’s building and she knew Marcus was here somewhere.

“Marcus.” She reached out in front of her. Nothing.

She took a deep breath and pressed her palms against the wall behind her back, the grooves in the blocks grounding her. She knew where she was, but why was she here? Upstairs she knew what to do, whatever the Dom demanded. An intense heat warmed her from within. What would be asked of her in a space like this, one where she couldn’t even see?

She tucked her hair behind her ear, the movement feeling more intense, more deliberate. She felt her way up her arm, around her neck, and to her chest. She arched her back, wishing she had a Dom here now commanding her next move.

“Marcus,” she called into the nothing.

Finally the car pulled to the curb in front of her office building.

“I’ll contact you as soon as I hear from Keller’s office.” She stole one last look at Rob.

“I’ll be waiting.” He didn’t move an inch.

She imagined he was holding himself back, like a caged beast. Her pulse jumped. Instead of giving in, she scooted out of the car, closed the door, and watched the car disappear.

Ten Things to know about the Club Blind series

I’m so excited that the first in my Club Blind series is finally out. I’ve been wanting to share this story for so long, but other stories needed to come first. I’ve had a plan and today I’m giving you a closer look. There are ten things I want to share with you today and you’ll begin to see this new series is not only closely related but intertwined with my Love Projects series.

All of the Club Blind stories will be standalones. However, there will be fun overlaps and character cameos from not only this series but the Love Projects series too. The heroine for what will be my 3rd Love Projects book was once married to the hero from In the Blind and the heroine for what will be my 4th Love Projects book is the best friend of the heroine from In the Blind. No seven degrees needed here, lol.
I’ve added to my Love Projects chart which I debuted during this post back in June.

In the Blind has an epilogue, but there’s also a break in time towards the beginning of the story. This is definitely a second chances type of story.
The epilogue for In the Blind has a clue for the 3rd book in the series.
The theme for the 2nd book will be a whole new play on date night. More on that soon.
The theme for the 3rd book will be something completely new for me. I’ll say this, there will be three point of views.
The heroines for both the 2nd and 3rd books in the Club Blind series you’ve met before if you’ve read any of my books and my one Romance on the Go. Can you guess who they are? Love it when side characters get their own time to shine.
There are two characters that have either appeared or have been mentioned in all of my books. That is still true even with the release of In the Blind. I’m curious if anyone knows who they are?
I’ll also tell you that one will star in the final book in the Love Projects series and the other will star in the final book in the Club Blind series.
When I submitted In the Blind to Evernight it already had an epilogue, but what I didn’t know is that it was missing a whole chapter. That’s right, the last chapter was added after they accepted and contracted the book. The last chapter and the first chapter have to be my favorite chapters. Don’t make me pick which I love more. I can’t do it.

The door continued to open every few minutes. Finally, the woman in front of Jane was taken away. She could see nothing past the door besides black. Until the door closed, she continued gazing into the darkness. How would the loss of sight change the experience? Would she feel more? What would he feel like? Nerves shook through her limbs, and sweat tickled her palms.

The door opened, and she stood straight as a statue. This was crazy. She searched for pockets in her robe. When she found none, she swallowed back a curse.

The escort stopped in front of her. “Are you having second thoughts?” He shifted the goggles higher on his forehead.

“Maybe.”

“Would you like to step back and wait to go or …” He stepped back and cracked the door open. “Sometimes it helps to hear the sounds of the other participants.”

She closed her eyes and took in the moans and let her mind drift to what her body would feel like to make her make those kinds of sounds.

“I don’t want to pressure you. Tell me what you want.”

“Thank you.” She opened her eyes and took a step towards him. The only way was forward. “I’m ready.”

“Good for you.” He reached out and took hold of her hand. “Come on, I’ll take you to the lucky one, for tonight.” He winked and tugged her forward.

Once the door closed behind them, Jane was surrounded by unending black. She looked around, but there was nothing, no end to the darkness. A nervous shiver danced along her spine, followed by thoughts of haunted houses. What would she find around the next corner? Her escort tugged her forward, bringing her back to the night’s purpose.

She needed to remember why she was here. She needed to live in the moment. There was a good chance she was about to touch the man who would give her release.

They slowed, turned a corner, and after a couple more steps they stopped. She swallowed the lump in her throat when her escort placed her hand into another’s.

“Enjoy.” He squeezed her shoulder, and she sensed his presence leave the space.

A pull on her hand forced her feet forward a couple of steps. She stopped just as abruptly when she bumped into a hard chest—the man of the hour. This man would touch her soon, but he wasn’t yet. He was only holding her hand. Her breasts moved with her uneven breathing, and her nipples scraped against his chest.

Why wasn’t he touching her? Was he nervous, too, or having second thoughts? She reached up in curiosity to make sure he wasn’t wearing a pair of night-vision goggles, but only found soft hair. She followed the section of hair to above his shoulder and continued onto smooth skin and around his shoulder to his bicep thick with muscle. Her heart thumped, and her breath quickened as moisture covered her needy pussy.

She breathed deeply, taking in his delicious musky scent. Her hand wandered to his chest and found more of the same, firm skin rounding over firm muscles. A warm hand landed over hers and held her hand tight to his chest. A nose tickled her ear.

Cover Reveal for In the Blind and Your Exclusive Invitation to Club Blind

I’m over the moon excited to share with you the cover for my next book, In the Blind. It’s a story that came to me almost two years ago and had to wait patiently, okay not so patiently, for its time to shine.

But first, I want to invite you to this new club, the inspiration behind my new series. It’s Club Blind. The concept is simple. Its atmosphere is pitch black. You don’t need to see to feel and reach new heights in pleasure. Let Club Blind remove your inhibitions so you can indulge in your sexual fantasies.

I have many things planned for this series. Each story will explore new possibilities of this pitch black club. It’s located in the basement of the club featured in my Love Projects Series. Mid Week Tease – Come A Bit Closer

Today, I’m sharing from my next book, In the Blind. It’s releasing October 15th! 😀

Last Week: I shared the start of their ride home from Rob’s interview. I left them with Rob moving in for a kiss and Jane pushing him back. This Week: As promised, I’ve skipped nothing and you’ll find out if she lets him come closer. Enjoy.

He tilted his head slightly, and she let him come a bit closer. His cheek brushed along hers. Questions swirled around in her mind, making her dizzy. She’d started falling for this man while they talked about changes in the job market and their favorite apps. Now, all she had to do was relax her arm a bit and he’d kiss her. She licked her lips and imagined his body pressed against hers.

She pulled him closer and removed the distance. His lips sealed over hers, and she was lost. This was what she craved, this surrender of need. When he pulled away, she opened her mouth and he took his claim.

Their tongues tangled back and forth. She breathed in his deep intoxicating scent. She needed him between her thighs. That sharp burst of need took over her common sense. What was she doing? She couldn’t understand this loss of control.

She didn’t even understand him. He’d taken off the ring, but he was going after a job that would put him in daily contact with his ex. Was Jane merely the warm-up to getting back what he’d lost?

She needed to protect herself. She couldn’t miss something simple and walk right back to heartbreak. She wanted, needed to be his first choice. Her fingers dug further into his shirt and squeezed. The folds of the material pushed against her hand, and she tunneled her fingers along the fabric. She didn’t want to let go, but she had to. She didn’t know what instinct to trust.

She peeked at him and wanted to believe his desire was true. His eyes smoldered with restrained heat. No man could look at her like that and only want a job or a one night stand, but she couldn’t risk her heart before she knew the truth. With a shove she watched the heat in his eyes fade.

Mid Week Tease – Stop Playing Around

Today, I’m sharing from my next book to release:

Last Week I shared a fun conversation with Rob and his best friend, Marcus. This Week: I’ve skipped a bunch. I will give no spoilers. 🙂 Rob and Jane are being chauffeured home from Rob’s interview. Enjoy.

“Thanks for bringing me here today.”

“You’re welcome. Thanks for giving it a chance.” She tugged at her blouse. “I’m pretty sure he’ll send an attractive offer. There will probably be only one thing in it we can change, but I’ll find it.”

“You’re a shark.”

“Hardly.”

“I admire that about you. You go after what you want, don’t you?”

“In my professional life, yes, I like to believe that’s true.” She’d taken lots of chances throughout her career. In business, she wasn’t afraid to take risks. She crossed her legs and angled herself towards him.

He shifted in his seat to face her directly. “What aren’t you going after in your personal life?”

“Pretty much everything.”

“What do you want?”

She turned to look out the window. He’d laid out the question she hadn’t pushed herself to answer. Her thoughts kept drifting to Saturday night and her mystery man. He’d made her fantasies come to life, but it was this man sitting next to her, the one who might not be totally ready, who made her heart flutter uncontrollably. The two together would be explosive. Which did she want? Which could she have?

“I want trust and friendship.”

“Is that all? I can give you that.”

She shifted in the seat and looked him right in the eye. “No, that’s not all.”

“Don’t play with me.”

“I’m not—”

He shifted towards her. His body got a few inches from her, and she pushed against his chest, her eyes clamped shut. Convincing herself he was still hung up on his ex made the possibility of getting hurt highly unlikely because, before he could hurt her, he would drift out of her life. But for now he was here, close, and pushing against her hand. She let her elbow bend, and he came closer. The rich manly scent of him drove her needs higher.

She wanted him with an urgency that caused her fingers to dig around the fabric of his shirt. Desire and nerves fought for her attention. Pushing him away would be safe. She had no desire for safety.
