Weekend Writing Warriors – Looking for Release

Welcome friends old and new. I’m glad you came. I’m giving you something brand new today. I don’t have a working title yet or a logline, but picture a woman, her name is Gina. She’s still healing from divorce. Although she gets along with her ex, it’s his best friend, Marcus, that’s the last person she’d want to see on her night out.

Gina’s come to Club Voyage, the local BDSM club where she’s been a member for years. After a hard week, one she’s not proud of, she’s looking for release.

A loud whack sounded behind her and she whipped around. A dom stood near the wall of paddles and floggers. He smacked a wooden paddle against his hand, placed it back on the hook, and examined another. She couldn’t see his face, but attraction was instant. The way he examined each paddle before smacking his hand had her body tingling. What would it be like to be on the receiving end of a spanking made with such care? He took a step back, a wide paddle in his hand, and turned.

Marcus.

Her week just wasn’t going to get any better.

Hope you enjoyed my eight today, but Gina’s still looking for release. Poor Gina. Would you like to know more about Gina and Marcus? Please consider tweeting this. 🙂

Weekend Writing Warriors – No More Surprises

Welcome friends old and new. I’m glad you came. This week I’m sharing 8 more from my WIP, In the Blind. I hope you enjoy.

In the Blind (working title), and you can see the past posts from this WIP here. The Logline: When a head hunter finds her dream lover in a night of pitch black unrestrained passion, she fears she’ll never find him again. Fate steps in and throws the two together, but they might never discover the truth and stay in the blind.

Over the past many weeks I’ve shared Jane’s experience at Club Blind and her business opportunity that put her back in touch with Rob after they met last month. Rob isn’t keen on Jane’s job opportunity. It’s for the company his ex-wife works for. Last Post Rob explained why he kept his ring on after the divorce. He wasn’t missing his wife. He needed to forgive himself for his part in the failed promise. This week, I’ve skipped a few paragraphs. Rob finally told Jane about Gina working at Keller’s AND he’s asked her out. Go Rob. The first line is his.

“So, you’re okay with this?”

“It’s a lot to take in, but I still think you’re the best candidate for Keller. If you’re sure, then I am too. Besides, my business could really use the connection.”

“Alright, it’s settled. Let’s go charm Keller, and then I’ll take you out.”

“No more surprises, right?” she said with her eye brows raised.

“I’ve got none left in my pocket, should I take a peek in yours?”

Oh! Wish I could share Jane’s response. No more surprises, right? <If you want, you can Tweet That> Jane needs to direct that question at herself. But I’ll save that for later.

Hope you enjoyed my eight today. Thank you so much for visiting me, it means a lot to me that you took the time to visit my little place on the web. Don’t forget to check out the other Weekend Warriorsand Saturday Spankings too.

Weekend Writing Warriors – Mistakes

Okay. okay. I give, lol. I’ll give you a couple more weeks of In the Blind, but then you’re cut off, until it’s published. 🙂

It’s for the company his ex-wife works for and Jane doesn’t know that, yet.  Last Post Rob decided he needed to tell Jane about his wife. He doesn’t want to lose Jane before he takes her out for the first time. In this week’s post, I’ve skipped two sentences. Rob mentioned his old wedding ring and Jane stated she remembered it from when they first met.

She looked down at his naked finger.

“You noticed?” A flash of joy lit him, he chuckled and took hold of her hands. “Wearing that ring had nothing to do with my ex.” He shook his head and pulled her a little closer. “That ring represented my commitment, a commitment I had to let go.” He captured her sight once more. “I can’t explain it, but keeping it on reminded me of the mistakes I made, mistakes I never want to make again.”

Healing and learning from a lost love, he’s pretty awesome. Jane better say yes if he gets around to asking her out, but Rob has more to share. Will his honesty bring her closer or scare her away? <If you want, you can Tweet That>

Welcome friends new and old. I missed you last week. I hope you missed me too. This is the last week, for now, that I’ll be sharing from In the Blind. You’ll see it again, if I sell it. My fingers are crossed.

Over the past many weeks I’ve shared Jane’s experience at Club Blind and her business opportunity that put her back in touch with Rob. Rob isn’t keen on Jane’s job opportunity. It’s for the company his ex-wife works for.  Last Post Rob decided he wasn’t letting Jane get away or the opportunity she presented. In this week’s post, they’re on their way to the interview when Rob decides he better tell her about his ex-wife.

As they neared an alley, he took her hand and steered her around the corner into the empty lane.

“What are you doing?” She looked at him like he’d lost his mind.

“I need to tell you about my ex.”

“No, you really don’t.”

“Jane, let me share this with you.” He stroked her face and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. It was an intimacy he had no right to, but one he wanted.

Will he earn her trust or scare her away? <If you want, you can Tweet That>

Hope you enjoyed my eight today. Thank you so much for visiting me, it means a lot to me that you took the time to visit my little place on the web. Don’t forget to check out the other Weekend Warriorsand Saturday Spankings too.

Flash Fiction #42 A Ridiculous Dress

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

May 3, 2013

stockvault.net

A walk on the beach was supposed to do the trick, except now all Collin could think of was Susan. He knew how many people he needed on his team. He didn’t need her to challenge him, even if she’d made a good point.

It all started with the ridiculous dress she wore yesterday. It covered every inch of her upper thighs. He didn’t know how he was supposed to think of his business with her tiny waist slopping dramatically out to her hips and now he had to fantasize about the part of her legs she wouldn’t show him.

It’s for the company his ex-wife works for.  Last Post Jane politely got up from the table and was ready to walk away. In this week’s post, I’ve skipped nothing.

“Wait.” He grabbed hold of her hand which was not yet out of reach. “I’m over-reacting.” He stood, leaving little distance between them. She looked beautiful, arching her neck to look into his eyes. He breathed in her sweet vanilla scent and he felt her fingers fold around his hand.

“Are you sure?” With the positive shake of his head she continued, “It would mean the world to me if you would meet with Keller. I know he’d be impressed by you.”

I’m impressed by you, Rob. He’s made his decision, but is it the right one? <If you want, you can Tweet That>

Flash Fiction #41 Stealing Forever

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

April 26, 2012

Why he was the only one to see Angel’s worth he’d never understand. He’d bet not even the woman herself was speaking in her favor. As soon as he had time to spare, he’d bend her over his knee and redden her beautiful backside.

He waited in the vacant yard to learn her sentence while the sky continued to empty all it had like it was trying to force out the filth. He wiped at his rain soaked hands and water rolled off his head in a constant torrent.

He’d promised her forever. He’d steal it if he had to.

Over the past few weeks I’ve shared Jane’s experience at Club Blind and her business opportunity that put her back in touch with Rob. Last Post we found out why Rob isn’t keen on Jane’s job opportunity. It’s for the company his ex-wife works for. In this week’s post, I’ve skipped just a little and we’re still in Rob’s POV.

His marriage wasn’t meant to survive. His promises weren’t meant to be kept. It was time to stop punishing himself.

“I’ll let you know if I find another opportunity.” She stood and lingered. “Thanks for meeting me today. It was good to see you again.” She took a step from the table.

Wait!! He’s not going to let her leave, is he? Time’s A Wastin’ Rob. You’re not thinking Jane wants to leave anyways, right? <If you want, you can Tweet That> Come back next week and I’ll give you another clue.

Weekend Writing Warriors – Out of Reach

AAA-WWW

Welcome friends new and old. I’m going to give you a couple more posts from the WIP I’ve been sharing before I move onto something new.

Over the past few weeks I’ve shared Jane’s experience at Club Blind and her business opportunity that put her back in touch with Rob. Last Post Jane presented Rob with the job description for Keller’s company. He’s impressed until he learns where he’d be working. In this week’s post, I’ve skipped just a little to put us back in Rob’s POV, but Jane and Rob are still in the coffee shop. Gina is Rob’s ex-wife and she works for Keller.

Jane pulled her hand away and he let her go. The loss of her touch felt more present than the horror he once thought of ever working with Gina again. If he was honest with himself, he’d admit his apprehension had nothing to do with Gina. Nope, she was just a reminder of a commitment he let sour.

“I’m sorry to have upset you.” Her hand lay on the table just out of his reach.

He shouldn’t let his failed marriage ruin another relationship, or in this case, a career opportunity. He hadn’t even asked Jane out, yet.

They’re going to figure this out, right? Only I (and my CP) know the answer to that question. 🙂 If Rob’s not careful, Jane will drift away until she’s out of reach. <If you want, you can Tweet That> Come back next week and I’ll give you another clue.

Hope you enjoyed my eight today. Thank you so much for visiting me, it means a lot to me that you took the time to visit my little place on the web. Don’t forget to check out the other Weekend Warriorsand Saturday Spankings too.

Flash Fiction #40 – Chasing Alison

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

Brian refused to think about the trouble Alison had found or if she was hurt. He took a look at the clock and pushed harder on the gas pedal. This wasn’t the first time she’d pressed an informant too far, but he wanted to get there before the gun shots. A deep breath did nothing to calm his racing heart.

He’d been putting off asking for a new partner, preferring to ignore his feelings than risk losing her all together.

He wouldn’t lose her today.

A slam to the horn, a hard left, and he pulled into a quiet lot.
