I could NOT do the work that you do! I detest biting black flies, mosquitoes, biting no-seeums, etc. They can be so bad, sometimes, in my area that they keep me confined to the house on a beautiful day!
I definitely don’t seek them out. In really bad years I have to wear a bug jacket with screen mesh over my face. I’ve gotten used to them over time and I must not taste as good as I used to, they don’t bite as much. 😉
