#SatSpanks -All for the Sting of the Paddle- a snippet from Taking Over #ComingSoon

click here to visit the Saturday Spankings blogHello! Happy Saturday Spankings! :) I’m sharing from my next release. It’s the third book in my Love Projects Series. This is the book that will change the series. The heroine is the mean girl from books one and two. Oh boy. You just know she’s getting a spanking, lol.

Last Week: Gina has actually come to the spanking benches at Club Voyage when she runs into her nemesis, Marcus. He’s the one man that has always called her out and forced her to face her bad choices.

This Week: I’m sharing from the same scene. I’ve skipped a little bit of their conversation. Marcus has offered to give her what she needs. After thinking about it, she climbs onto the spanking bench. Enjoy!

“Yes, Sir, I understand. I won’t move.” It pinched her last nerve to call him sir, but he was doing her a great service. For these few minutes, she’d give him the respect any Master in this club deserved.

He flipped her skirt up over her back, exposing her round ass. The paddle brushed over her lower back, across her hip, and down the length of her leg to her knee. His hand followed the paddle with a feather touch, allowing a soothing bliss to spread over her skin.

The room either quieted or she’d blocked out the noise but she welcomed the peace, needing to remember why she was there. He repeated the pattern on the other side, drawing her in with his tenderness.

 Blurb:

Gina’s life was perfect, until the day she realized the man she loved didn’t love her back. Her charming life turned upside down as tragedy and cruelty struck her down. She learned to protect her family from those who could cause them pain, but she inadvertently ensured the perfect life would be forever out of her reach.

Marcus has hid his love for Gina for years. His assumptions about her have allowed him to be harsh, but underneath all the anger is a man deeply in love. The tough realities of her life put them in position to see themselves in a whole new light. The second chance is right there and it could take them over the edge into the love they’ve always wanted.

Mid Week Tease -A Wish for Things to be Different- A snippet from Taking Over (Love Projects 3) #ComingSoon

MWTease15Welcome to hump day my friends. Thank you to the beautiful Sandra Bunino for bringing us together.

I’m sharing today from my next release, the third book in my Love Projects Series. Taking Over is Gina and Marcus’s story. They were once very close friends but now they’re enemies. More on that later.

Last Week Gina entered Club Voyage and began her search for a Dom to give her a spanking. She thought she found the right man for her until he turned and she discovered it was Marcus. She tried to sneak away but he stopped her. Oh boy!

Today’s Tease I’ve skipped almost nothing. Enjoy!

The dark lighting must have played a trick on her. Usually she spotted his light colored locks from across the room, making it quite easy to steer clear of him. She had no idea why the submissives in the club flocked to him for their training.

“I’m not surprised you’ve come to the spanking benches. What have you done now?”

“Funny. I’d say it’s good to see you, but I’m not one to lie.”

“Really?” He shifted, squaring his hips in her direction, clasping his wrists in front of him. The paddle, still held in his hand, concealed an important portion of his leather covered bottom half. “I haven’t observed that to be true.”

“Always the gentleman.” This had to be a new record. In less than a minute, he had her loathing herself. It didn’t matter he was working on incorrect data. “Hope not to see you again.” She waved as she turned to go.

“Wait.”

She kept moving.

His hand came down on her shoulder and pulled her around. “When a Master tells you to wait, you do as you’re told. Our personal history doesn’t erase protocol. Is that clear?”

“Yes, Sir.” Her chest rubbed against his. From under her lashes, she looked up into his light blue eyes and, for a second, wished she could forget why she hated him.

Excerpt:

Captain Hugh Wilkes drummed enthusiastically on the steering wheel of his car as he drove it up the M3 towards London. He sung loudly and tunelessly along to the song on the radio, too, but it didn’t matter. No one could hear him.

He’d surprised himself by being so chilled out about the volume of Friday evening traffic. He wasn’t the most patient of people, so the slow progress should probably have been increasing his blood pressure, if not leading to full on road rage. But, although he’d have loved to be actually achieving the speed limit, not bumbling along at a mere fifty miles per hour, Wilkes was just glad the traffic was moving at all. Britain’s roads, the motorways in particular, soon came to a standstill if there was so much as a tiny bump between two vehicles. So any progress was better than none.

Besides, what could he do about it? His only other options to get to London from his base in Wiltshire were a train, or stealing a plane, helicopter or tank. The latter might just cause a little bit of bother, and mean the end of his army career, not to mention criminal charges. The former meant cramming in amongst sweaty, disgruntled commuters. If that wasn’t bad enough, he’d be charged an extortionate amount to do so, probably wouldn’t even get a seat, and would likely be subjected to delays.

At least driving took him from door to door, with plenty of personal space. And if there were delays, well, he could sit them out from the comfort of his own vehicle, with the climate control set to the perfect temperature, and the radio blasting some of his favourite tunes.

The next song was even better, and Wilkes’ tuneless wailing became more enthusiastic, as did the drumming on the steering wheel. He was in one hell of a good mood, and if he was truthful with himself, he knew it wasn’t just the fact the M3 was moving at a nice pace. It wasn’t the Friday feeling, either. Sure, both of those things were contributing to his happiness, but the main reason he was grinning like a buffoon was the thought of what awaited him in the capital. Or rather, who.

Rustam Balkhi. His gorgeous Afghan boyfriend, whom he’d met out in Afghanistan while they were working together for the British Army. Now, with their tour of duty over and the forces’ presence pulled out of the country, the two men had returned to England. Wilkes had gone back to his regular army life in Bulford Camp, near Salisbury. Balkhi was in London, where he’d recommenced the medical training he’d postponed to become an interpreter for the Brits.

The past few weeks had been somewhat of a whirlwind. Wilkes’ return to the UK had been straightforward, but Balkhi had had to jump through some hoops in order to get back onto his medical course. He’d been willing to start from scratch, but it’d seemed like an awful waste of time, so Wilkes had spoken to his superiors, who’d explained to the university what important work Balkhi had been doing. Fortunately, they’d been persuaded of Balkhi’s commitment and character, and allowed him to pick up where he’d left off. That settled, Balkhi had to pack up, travel back to the UK, find somewhere to live, move in… and all before the start of the next academic term.

Wilkes had felt terrible. His return had taken place a few weeks before Balkhi’s, so although he’d been granted some leave for R&R, he hadn’t been able to either spend it with Balkhi, or to use it help him with his relocation. By the time Balkhi had set foot on British soil, Wilkes was back to work. And, given nobody knew about the two of them, or even that Wilkes was gay, he couldn’t exactly ask for more leave in order to help his boyfriend move into his new flat.

Life had conspired against them ever since, so this was the first opportunity they’d had to see each other since saying goodbye in Afghanistan all those weeks ago. They’d communicated via email, text message and phone calls, but it just wasn’t the same. Especially since they’d gone from seeing each other every single day for the best part of six months to not setting eyes on each other for weeks on end.

Wilkes had struggled terribly in the interim. Life had been tough enough while they were still out in the desert. After weeks and weeks of trying desperately to ignore their growing attraction, they’d finally given in to it. It had been stupid and risky, but, having quickly realised there was more to their attraction than the physical, they’d decided to carry on their relationship in secret while they were in Afghanistan, see how it went, and figure things out once Wilkes’ tour of duty was over. Balkhi had always intended to return to the UK for his studies, so they would, at least, be living in the same country.

Mid Week Tease -The One She Doesn’t Want -A snippet from Taking Over (Love Projects 3) #ComingSoon

MWTease15I’m over the moon excited and doubly nervous at the same time for my next release. The third book in my Love Projects Series will be releasing soon. I should receive the edits any day.

Taking Over is the story of Gina & Marcus. That’s right. I’ve taken the trouble maker from the first two books in the series and I’m telling her story.

I hope you’re ready to take this roller coaster ride because Gina certainly isn’t.

Today’s Tease is from the opening pages. Gina has just arrived at Club Voyage and she’s seeking a Dom to give her paddling. Enjoy!

A loud whack sounded behind her and she whipped around. A Dom stood near the wall of paddles and floggers. Actually, considering his leather pants and dark shirt, he was probably a Master. He smacked a wooden paddle against his hand, placed it back on the hook, and examined another. She couldn’t see his face, but between his confident stance, thick shoulders, and tapered waist, attraction was instant. The way he examined each paddle before smacking his hand had her body tingling. What would it be like to be on the receiving end of a spanking made with such care? He took a step back, a wide paddle in his hand, and turned.

Marcus.

Her week just wasn’t going to get any better.

She spun around before he could see her. The last thing she wanted to hear was another jab from Marcus. The man had a talent for pushing her buttons.

“Gina.”

Shit.

Spotlight: Longing for Her (A Risso Family Novella) by Lynn Burke

Happy Book Birthday to Longing for Her!

Longing for Her
A Risso Family Novella
Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 7, 2015

Straight-laced Cole Risso has longed for his sister’s bohemian best friend Gwen since he first laid eyes on her as a kid. Now, as future patriarch of the Risso Family, he’s expected to marry well. A free spirit and unconventional daughter of a pot-toking hippie hardly qualifies.

When one night of giving into temptation ruins them both for any other, Cole and Gwen are faced with a decision – love the other enough to let them go, or defy family expectations and fight for their hearts’ desires.  No matter the decision, their choices have the power to destroy all they hold dear.

Excerpt:

I rounded the couch, but halted as a body came into view.

Cole lounged against the far side, one hand behind his head, half-empty beer bottle in the other. “Hey.”

Our gazes collided, sending a shock wave of energy through my blood. My heel itched to spin, but his focus wandered down my body and back up again, lingering on my bare thighs.
Oh, the temptation to taste him one more time. Three years of simmering desire had my kettle ready to scream hallelujah. “Hey,” I whispered back. “I thought you’d left.”

His smile melted my bones. “Decided to stay a while and reminisce.”

My lips tugged up. “I was eyeing the back of the couch while stealing some whiskey and doing the same thing.” Kind of.

“Care to join me?”

I considered the cushion closest to me and bit on the inside of my lip as temptation and love for the sexy man a few paces away warred in my brain. Knowing I owed Cole an apology, I decided to sit, curling my legs under me. “Sorry for being so harsh earlier. I…I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

Cole twisted sideways to place the bottle on the coffee table. “I shouldn’t have cornered you like that.” He started to sit up, but hesitated, a question in his eyes.

“It’s all right. I won’t run.”

The leather squeaked as he swung his feet to the floor and leaned back, hands on his thighs. His blue tie hung loose, the top two buttons of his dress shirt unbuttoned. A hint of dark hair called out to my fingers. Averting my eyes, I focused on the tumbler clasped in both my hands.

“I know I’ve said it hundreds of times, Gwen, but I’m sorry. Please say you forgive me.”
Another gulp of whiskey gave me courage to speak. “Forgiving in my mind means making things right—getting back to normal and moving on.” I lifted my head enough to focus on the knot of his tie. “I can’t do that with you, Cole.”

“Why not?”

“Because even though it’s expected you’ll marry an uptight, snobbish princess,” I sucked in air and allowed the words to spew, “I want you every second of the day.”

His chest stopped its rise and fall, and I glanced up at his face.

Mistake.

Longing like I’d never known reached out from his eyes and froze me in place. My breath caught. Nipples pebbled beneath my thin shirt.

Every muscle in my body quivered as he stood and walked toward me, unwavering gaze on my face.

“What—” I licked my lips, hating how my voice wavered. “What are you doing?”

“Give me the whiskey.”

My pulse thrummed with life, and I put the glass in his outstretched hand.

He set it on the coffee table without breaking eye contact and leaned down, placing his hands against the back of the couch on either side of me, making an effective cage. His face hovered mere inches from mine.

I breathed in as he exhaled, the subtle scent of peppermint flooding my mouth with saliva. His lower lip called out to my teeth; the shadow lining his jaw begged for my tongue.

“Did you mean what you said about once being enough, Gwen? Because it’s not for me. I want to taste every inch of your skin. Bury myself inside you.”

My breath caught, and moisture flooded my panties making me squirm on the cushion.
I opened my mouth, having no idea what words would tumble out, but he swooped down, capturing my parted lips before I could speak.

Blessed Mary, mother of God.

“You have family here? Clover East is such a small town. I don’t visit often but I think I know who all the families are around here.”

Nate was tempted to ask if Lucian knew Janette Madison, Nate’s aunt, but he was afraid it would be too soon, too abrupt.

“Nah, I don’t have family here,” he said instead. “I had just thought one of my aunts stopped by this town, but I’m not so sure myself.” There, he had said it.

“You haven’t had any news from your aunt?”

“No.”

“You mean she’s missing or something?” Lucian frowned.

“Honestly, I don’t know if she’s missing or just doesn’t want to be found.”

“Did your family ask you to find her?”

Nate played with his bottle. He wouldn’t look at Lucian. “No one asked me to locate her because there’s no one else out there. She’s the only family I have left. That’s why I wanted to find her.”

Neither spoke after that. When Nate lifted his head, he found Lucian staring blankly at a spot on the table. He wanted to ask about him instead but Nate couldn’t bring himself to open his mouth. His mind was whirling with the thoughts that until now, years after he first came to this city, he still couldn’t find Aunt Janette.

Nate,

I’m sorry about your loss and I’m very sorry I didn’t come to the funeral. I was halfway around the continent and I was quite short of money. But don’t worry about me. I met someone and he asked me to go live with him. I don’t know if you’ve heard of Clover East, a small town in Illinois? I hadn’t, before this. But I have a good feeling about this place, Nate. If you ever want to come to stay with me, you’ll be more than welcome.

“No, she’s definitely missing,” he said suddenly.

“Excuse me?” Lucian looked startled. Nate didn’t blame him.

“She sent me a letter, literally inviting me to be with her.”

“What do you mean — be with you?”

“She met a man who asked her to come to Clover East. She understood I had just lost everyone so she wanted me to stay with her. She sounded so happy at that time. There were no signs that she wanted to hide. Something bad must have happened to her.”

“Did she mention any names?”

Nate shook his head, and practically jumped when Lucian clasped a hand over his. When did he get so close?

“You’re not alone anymore. We’ll search for your aunt and we’re going to find her. Together.”

Nate gawked, first at the hand that was warm against his skin and then up to Lucian’s soft green eyes. The man was nothing like the cold, arrogant one Nate had met earlier that morning. He was almost afraid at the sudden change.

“Uh, thank you, I guess?”

“Does my grandma know about this?”

“No, I never told her.”

“Why didn’t you?”

Nate had never thought about why it had not crossed his mind to talk to Helen about it. She had never asked him why he came to the town, thus, he didn’t feel the need to mention it.

“I don’t know,” he said simply to Lucian.

Lucian pursed his lips. “I just thought it might help, you know. She’s lived here all her life. She must notice when there’s a newcomer in town, especially when the person suddenly disappears.”

“I found it strange,” Nate said slowly, “that no one seemed to hear or see anything about her. It’s like she never set foot in this place.”

“Are you sure she was really here?”

Nate said nothing and took out his cell-phone. He opened the picture albums and scrolled down until he found what he was looking for. He showed the picture to Lucian, who scrutinized it like a doctor checking on a patient on an operation table. Nate could almost see through Lucian’s eyes his aunt smiling at the camera, her long black locks blown by the wind. She posed in Clover East’s city square in front of a group of tables belonging to a café there.

“She was alone.”

“Yeah.” Nate knew exactly what Lucian was thinking. If she’d been with someone, they might have been able to recognize them.

“I wonder who took the picture.”

“She could’ve simply asked a passerby to do it.”

“You’re right.” Lucian gave him back the cell phone. “She only sent you that?”

“Yes, unfortunately.”

“So she was really here but we have no idea for how long and whom she met.”

“I was worried about her.” Nate sighed, and when he looked up, Lucian’s eyes bored into his.

“We’ll tell my grandma when she’s home and start an extensive search.”

Nate didn’t know what to say. He felt as if he was drowning in Lucian’s gaze.

“O-okay,” he said finally, after he realized Lucian had cleared his throat several times, awaiting his response.

“Good.” Lucian heaved a deep breath and stretched out, pulling his arms high above his head, and Nate was unable to keep his eyes off the scrumptious sight. “So, will you stay for dinner?”

author

Iyana writes M/M short stories and novellas. Her works have been published by Evernight Publishing, JMS Books, Books to Go Now, Torquere Press, Bitten Press, Leap of Faith Publishing, Breathless Press, and Alfie Dog Fiction.

Iyana lives in Jakarta, a city famous for its traffic jams, a lot of cars and motorcycles, and people selling stuff on the roads. You can spend two hours on the road going to a place you can reach in half an hour in a normal situation. Thanks to the traffic jams, though, Iyana can come up with a lot of stories, mostly shorties, as she prefers to spend the time during her trips writing into her cell phone rather than sleeping.

Another thing Iyana loves is kitties. Right now she has three of them. Their names are Cil, Horus, and Betsy, and one kitten. When she doesn’t write, she plays with them, or they would play with her when she writes.

New Release! Cassie’s Influence by PK Corey

I’m so pleased to have PK Corey here today with her new release, Cassie’s Influence. I adore Cassie and I think you will too.

Thank you so much for having me today. I’m very excited about the latest Cassie book.  I realize Cassie isn’t the age of the average spanking book heroine – but I hope those new to the series will give her a chance. I think you’ll like her!

PK

Cassie's-Influence-Final-500Blurb:

Intentionally or not, Cassie’s influence spreads. Sue’s marriage had improved through Cassie’s influence.  However when Sue’s marriage unexpectedly takes a turn for the worse, Sue pushes for the solution she feels will work, a solution that could put Cassie on a collision course with the ivory brush.

Allie and Ryan are both feeling influence from Cassie and Tom. Cassie doesn’t mean to lead Allie astray – but Allie sees Cassie as a role model. Every adventure, old or new, captures Allie’s attention, which increases her desire to be more like mentor. But for better or worse, Ryan is just as determined to be like Tom.

Excerpt:

Tom went on, “Talking to me at lunch and not saying a word about being out of the state. Telling me you were stuck in traffic…”

“I never said we were stuck in traffic!” I gasped as he continued to pepper my behind. “I said traffic was heavy. And it was!”

“But,” Tom maintained, “you failed to mention that you were speaking of air traffic.”

“Owww… Stop!” I shouted. “I can’t remember to give you every little detail over the phone.” I heard Tom chuckle. That was a good sign, but he was still spanking hard. “Now stop! That’s enough. I won’t do it again, honey, I promise.”

“Girl, I’m just getting started. Whether you think I’m being too bossy or not, you’re going to let me know where you are. And if I do say ‘no’ when you want to run off somewhere, then the answer is ‘NO’ and you better respect that or your ability to sit comfortably will be a long time coming.” He continued to spank for some time but as much as it stung, I was grateful he was just using his hand.

Tom finally stopped and rested his hand on my burning bottom, but he didn’t start rubbing. Instead he leaned over and I heard the nightstand drawer open. I just had time to tense and cry out, “Oh, Tom, please, not that!” when I felt the first sting of his slipper. Now Tom had only had one pair of this type of night shoes. The sole is one more suited for wearing outside than a regular slipper. And the tread on this one tears me up. It doesn’t leave marks or anything you can see, but it’s like being spanked with a paddle covered with tiny pincers! Willow, bless her heart, chewed up one of them when she was a puppy and I was secretly delighted. That was until Tom pulled this one from the trash to be used exclusively for this purpose.

“Tom, please!” I wailed. “You know this one hurts all day!”

“Then perhaps we should use it every morning to make sure you remember to behave all day.” He spanked on as I struggled to crawl off his lap, to no avail. The last ten swats felt like they were given full force and right on my sit spot. When he let me up, I couldn’t help but grab my seat with both hands in a vain attempt to alleviate the pain.

“I’m taking you to breakfast, and you have exactly fifteen minutes to be dressed and sitting in the car or we’ll skip breakfast and you can have another spanking.” He punctuated this announcement with one additional hard swat to my burning cheek. I scrambled. I could tell he was teasing and not really mad anymore and I intended to keep it that way. However, at my age fifteen minutes is not near enough time to become presentable.
