Mid Week Tease – Chivalry Isn’t Dead from In the Blind

Click to see all the Mid Week Teases here at SJsWelcome to hump day my friends. Thank you to the beautiful Sandra Bunino for bringing us together.

Today, I’m sharing from my latest release, In the Blind.

Last Time: Jane pushed Rob away. This Week: I’ve skipped all kinds of things. No Spoilers! I found this exchange between Rob and his best friend Marcus. It’s not Jane calling him, but Marcus is calling to offer some help in that department. Also, remember, Gina is Rob’s ex-wife. Enjoy!

______________

His phone buzzed with an incoming call. Disappointment ran thick when he didn’t see her number on the caller id, but his buddy was the next best thing at the moment.

“Marcus, or should I say co-worker.”

“Are you sure about this?”

“Ah, yeah, you know the size of Keller’s signing bonuses.”

“Tell me that’s not why you’re taking the job.”

“No, this is really the right job for me, and I have a feeling this will help Jane and her business.”

“Chivalry is dead.”

“No wonder you’re single. All jokes aside, I’ve been getting bored with my assignments lately, and I know Keller will push me to stay on top of new technology. Plus, I’ll get the opportunity to stretch my career.”

“That’s why I’m here.”

“He’s going to let me work from home.”

“I’m not surprised. We have several team members telecommuting. There’s even a few I’ve never met in person. Jim lives in an RV and is in constant travel around North America. Keller’s only rule is he has to be able to reach you during office hours.”

“Yes, that’s stated in the contract.”

“I don’t think Gina is going to be a problem, but if she is, I’ll take care of it.”

“I had a feeling you’d say that. I think you’re what she needs.”

“What? That’s not why—”

“Marcus, it’s okay. You probably don’t even see it yet, but it’s okay with me.”

“Well … change of topic. I think you should come back to Club Blind this Saturday.”

“I don’t think so, this Saturday is date night, and there’s only one person I’d want to meet there.” Blood rushed to his cock when he thought of taking Jane in one of those pitch black rooms. “I haven’t talked to her about it yet. Believe me, I intend to.”

“Do you trust me?”

Welcome, I’m so glad you came. Today, I’m sharing from my new release, In the Blind.

Last Week:  I shared a sexy bit from the first chapter. This Week: I’ve skipped several chapters forward again. Rob and Jane have just started their counseling session with Mistress Charlie. Jane filled out the pre-questionnaire and thinks she’s ready. The first few lines belong to Charlie. Enjoy!

“Your future together all depends on your ability to be open and honest.” She let go of Jane, got up from the table, and walked behind them. “To get us started today, I’d like to begin with an honesty exercise, and we’ll see how it goes.”

Jane turned to look at Mistress Charlie.

“Keep your eyes on me, pet.” Rob squeezed her knee. “Mistress Charlie is here to observe and to help us, but this conversation is between us.”

“Tell Rob something you didn’t write down from the first page of questions.”

Jane might be in a little over her head here. Oh boy. :) I’ll share more of this scene next week or you can pick up your copy today.

Mid Week Tease – Roxanne and Jonathon – Her Power

Click to see all the Mid Week Teases here at SJsWelcome to hump day my friends. Thank you to the amazing Sandra Bunino for bringing us together.

Today, I’m sharing a snippet from my Roxanne & Jonathon Love Story. I’ve been building it one flash at a time.

I picked today because it’s the first anniversary of my father-in-law’s death. I miss that proud Navy man and wish we had at least one more day to enjoy his company and his wisdom.

It’s been a tough year for all of us, but it’s been hardest of course on my mother-in-law. She lost her best friend and husband of fifty years. Her sorrow is deep and you can feel it hanging over her. I worry about her all the time.

At this point in the story, Roxanne and Jonathon have been separated by the villains, also known here as the Fates. Unlike my MIL, I have full control over Roxanne’s happy ending and I’m determined to reunite her with Jonathon. Until then, today’s flash is entitled “Her Power” Enjoy.

______________

It had been a year. Roxanne had felt this day coming. It was like a black hole pulling her towards the one thing she wished she had the power to change.

She’d spent the year trying to find a way to move on with her life. The Fates had won when they’d taken her Jonathon. They kept winning each day they kept them apart. The sharp pain in her heart nagged at her to move on, but she continued to pray she would find him again, that this horrible monotony would be broken.

111014She walked through the woods surrounding the cabin they’d shared during their last days together. It was her first trip back here. She’d thought it would hurt more, but in this place her memories seemed more alive.

In that moment, she knew she couldn’t move on. She wouldn’t. Not until they could do it together.

Welcome, I’m so glad you came. Today, I’m sharing from my new release, In the Blind.

Last Week:  I skipped back to the first chapter. Jane has just started her first evening at Club Blind. She may not be able to see her partner for the evening, but it doesn’t seem to be slowing them down. This Week: I’ve skipped nothing. More hot pleasure ahead. Enjoy!

Her fingers found the curve of his shoulder first and then up to a clean-shaven chin. She wished she could see the color of his eyes, know what he was thinking. Did he come here often? He kissed the inside of her thigh, and all concerns drifted away. This was a time for indulgence not analysis.

A soft kiss landed at the apex of her thigh, followed by a tiny bite and slathering of his warm wet tongue. Her pelvis shifted with desire and she tried to pull him closer. He spread her pussy lips wide open, and the same warm, wet heat stroked across her flesh and settled on her nub.

Release Day Alert- Hers to Own (The Vault Series) by Anne Lange

Happy release to my amazingly talented friend, Anne Lange. Her stories are fabulous and are all must reads in my book. I’ll be reading this as soon as possible. Here are all the details. Enjoy!

HersToOwn-ByAnneLange-800x1200He’ll teach her to love her body…one spanking at a time.

Brienna Morgan has worked hard to look good. Ten years ago she stuck to the shadows, watching the popular kids, wishing she could be one of them. But when they weren’t calling her cruel names, nobody noticed the smart overweight girl with the glasses.

So when she braves her high school reunion and runs into Kade McBride, the boy she loved from afar, the last thing she wants is for him to remember her. It’s bad enough she still sees that girl every time she looks in the mirror. But Kade does remember—and he makes it impossible for Brie to refuse to go out with him. She’s not convinced it’s a good idea, but she can’t pass up the opportunity to be part of the in crowd.

Kade had no desire to go to his high school reunion. As far as he’s concerned, he’d rather forget those days. Especially the day he screwed up and left his best friend to pay the ultimate price. But when he sees the gorgeous woman enter the gym, he’s immediately drawn to her. Regardless of her claims that she’s not the girl he thinks he remembers, Kade realizes maybe he’s been given a second chance to right at least one wrong from his past. And he’s determined not to throw this opportunity away, even if he has to tie Brienna to a spanking bench to prove his point.

Hers to Own

The Vault Series

 The McBride Men: Kade

© 2014 Anne Lange

Excerpt (X-rated)

“You should see how lovely you look, Brienna. You skin is blushing nicely.”

She wiggled her bottom, her breath coming in sharp bursts.

“Do you like it, Brie? Do you like me spanking you?” He ran his hand down between her legs, slid his fingers over her sex. “Oh, my. How wet you are already. I know you’ve already come twice tonight, but I would say that yes, you do like it.” The juicy wetness he encountered staggered him. He inhaled, desperate to slide his cock into her tight hole.

He slipped his fingers along her moist lips, reaching under to circle her clit a few times. She moaned and flexed her hips.

“No rubbing this pretty button against the cushion. I will reward you after. When it’s time.”

She groaned again.

Kade removed his hand, smiling as she let out a whimper. He added four more slaps, hard enough to sting his hand slightly. She arched into the last one. Whether she realized it or not, her body begged for more. He kneaded her ass some more before dipping low again, unable to resist. He found warm liquid coating her inner thighs. His mouth watered. Two more swats and he could treat himself, then her.

Kade delivered the final blows, both much less intense than the previous, but hard enough to keep her in the game. Soft whimpers reached his ears, and he dropped to his knees by her head. He ran a hand through her hair, releasing the fruity scent of her shampoo with the movement. “Are you OK, honey?”

She shook her head.

He stilled, his body tense. His fingers paused in her hair. “Brie? Look at me, sweetheart.”

It took a moment before she lifted her head and turned toward him, peering at him through heavy lids, her eyes dark and filled with lust.

His cock jumped. His heartbeat galloped, and he sucked in a breath. “Ah, Brienna. You liked it, didn’t you?

She nodded.

“Do you need to come?”

She blinked. Her pink tongue sneaked free to coat her bottom lip. She nodded.

He tipped forward and kissed her forehead. Sweat trickled down her temple. He licked away the salty fluid. “Let me help with that.”

She opened her mouth and closed it again.

“You can talk, honey.”

“I need you to fuck me, Kade. Please.”

“I will, soon.”

She winced and moaned. He gave her another kiss, then stood up and took his place at the other end of the bench. He’d help her come. But first, he craved a taste.

Mid Week Tease – What Do You Really Want

Click to see all the Mid Week Teases here at SJsWelcome to hump day my friends. Thank you to the amazing Sandra Bunino for bringing us together.

Today, I’m sharing from my new release, In the Blind.

Last Time: Jane and Rob are sharing a ride home from his interview. Rob moved in for a kiss and it was magic, but then Jane pushed him away. This Week: I’ve skipped nothing and you’ll find out if she thinks better of her decision or if she continues down her road alone. Enjoy.

______________

“Let’s close this deal, get you started, and then we’ll see. Okay?”

“If that’s what you want.” He slowly moved back to his side of the car.

“It is.” But it wasn’t. She wanted to kiss him again and her need for him kept growing. She brushed the wrinkles from her skirt. She’d told him no and he’d listened. It was a good thing, but a sad ache, like she’d been denied entry to her favorite show, tore at her resolve.

Her grandpa taught her to take risks and she’d practiced the skill regularly with her business, but she no longer had a desire to risk her heart. Normally, she’d try for at least the middle road, but she didn’t know what else to do at the moment.

She needed a real chance with Rob. She wanted to earn a chance with Keller’s connections. Pushing through this deal and letting the chips fall might be her only chance at both. How else would she ever really know if Rob was over his ex? She tugged at her blouse. The damn thing clung to her, and she needing more room to breathe.

Finally the car pulled to the curb in front of her office building.

“I’ll contact you as soon as I hear from Keller’s office.” She stole one last look at Rob.

“I’ll be waiting.” He didn’t move an inch.

She imagined he was holding himself back, like a caged beast. Her pulse jumped. Instead of giving in, she scooted out of the car, closed the door, and watched the car disappear.

 ____________

No! Oh, Jane. Who thinks she’s going to regret getting out of the car alone? Good news, you can read this whole story now since the doors to Club Blind are open. Wahoo!

Blurb:

An all expenses paid, trans-Atlantic cruise has romance written all over it…unless you’re the poor sap who has to inspect the toilets and time the cafeteria lines. As if secret-shopping her company’s failing cruise ship isn’t bad enough, Lydia Johnson is forced to bring along a “top talent” new hire as her assistant. With a heart barely healed from her ex-fiancé’s deceit, she’s in no mood to train a man who might cheat her out of an overdue promotion.

Paul Thomas may be new to J.P. Theriot Enterprises, but he certainly knows his way around cruise ships. The Cajun charmer also isn’t shy about pursuing his desires, including his wary, but oh-so-sexy-when-she lets-her-hair-down manager. He’s shared more about himself with Lydia than any other woman…except who he really is–J.P. Theriot.

Excerpt

Paul chuckled softly. “He sure noticed you.”

Lydia’s brows lifted. “Oh? In what way?”

Paul shrugged. “He saw you were with me and was wondering if you were taken.”

“And you said what?”

“Peter thinks you and I just met on this cruise, that we’re part of some singles package.”

Lydia crossed her arms. “We’re starting to have way too many stories.”

“And not a single one of them has you as my lesbian BFF.”

She raised a finger smiling. “Mark thinks we met at a book club and are platonic friends.”

“Thank goodness of all the people on this ship, he’s the one person who doesn’t think you’re mine. You do know you can’t go off or be seen alone with him, don’t you? As you yourself said, we’re here to work and not have fun chatting up blondes, and I assumed that applied to both sexes, bottle and natural blondes, and so should you.”

“Oh puh-lease. I am not interested in Mark Williams. He’s a friendly guy and my next-door neighbor, but that’s all. I don’t even like blonds, bottle or otherwise.”

A grin tugged at the corner of Paul’s lips. “What kind of guy do you normally go for?” He stepped into her space. “We both already know you can be tempted by my type.”

Lydia scowled and walked off.

He caught up to her. “What? Just stating the obvious.”

She increased her speed, but refused to acknowledge him, because dammit he was right.

“You can run but you can’t hide from the attraction between us, Lydia. And where are we off to in such a hurry anyway?”

“The art gallery,” she tossed back over her shoulder.

“Terrific. One of my favorite spots. There’s a nude I want you to see.”

She stopped and spun around. “You can’t keep talking to me like this.”

“I can’t talk about a painting or did you think I was talking about something else?” He was the picture of innocence.

Heat crept into her cheeks. She gazed up at him. “Because it’s not professional, and we’re here to do a job, not hook up!”

Paul frowned and blew out a rush of air through his nose. “This is so ironic, you know. Everyone on this ship already thinks we’re hooking up, but we can’t because you don’t want to look unprofessional. Did you forget the part that looking overly professional runs counter to being a good secret shopper?”

Lydia swiveled her head to either side as if scanning for eavesdroppers. “Keep your voice down.” She did another scan. “It’s not about looking professional or unprofessional. It’s about being professional. They are two different matters entirely.”

“What if I said I would quit?”

Lydia’s lips parted in a soft gasp.

Welcome, I’m so glad you came. Today, I’m sharing from my new release, In the Blind. This past week, I shared one scene from two different points of view that shows a bit of what it took to open Club Blind. You can find them here and here.

This Week: I’m skipping back to the first chapter. Jane has just started her first evening at Club Blind. She may not be able to see her partner for the evening, but it doesn’t seem to be slowing them down. Pleasure right ahead. Enjoy!

His touch disappeared and an arm wrapped around her neck, the other under her knees and he swept her up. Before she could wrap her arms around him, he set her on something firm and soft. She remembered reading each room was furnished with a mattress and fitted sheet on a simple frame. The only other thing in the room was a side table holding a bowl full of condoms.

She’d worried she’d get cold with no blankets to cover them. She understood now it was a needless worry. The heat running through her body reminded her of a hot summer day. The bed dipped slightly near her feet, and instinctively, she spread her legs.

Come back next week and I’ll share more from this scene or you can pick up your copy now and read it today. :)

Thank you so much for visiting me, it means a lot to me that you took the time to visit my little place on the web. Don’t forget to check out the other Saturday Spankings. There are other groups gathering this weekend too including, Weekend Warriors, and the Snippet Sunday Facebook Group.
