“Bared is a seductively haunting tale of control and surrender that will tantalize existing fans of the series, while enticing new readers into the passionate world of Club Sin.” ~Eliza Gayle, New York Times bestselling author of SUBMISSIVE BEAUTY

In a novel that’s perfect for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Stacey Kennedy returns to Club Sin with another wicked and wild tale of submission, seduction, and love.

At Las Vegas’s exclusive Club Sin, Aidan Knight is the Master, unleashing the erotic yearnings of his submissive lovers. But his dominant façade conceals a devastating loss—something he instantly recognizes in his personally trained submissive Cora Adams. Sworn to unearth her secrets, Aidan uses his seductive skills to ignite her wildest desires until Cora yields to the pleasure she can find only with him.

Cora came to the BDSM club to act out her sub-and-dom fantasies without ever revealing the heartbreak that haunts her. But Aidan’s masterful touch is bringing her closer to the edge . . . and deeper into a world of control and surrender. He refuses to allow her to submit to any other man—nor does she want to. It’s a dangerous game they’re playing. For as they give in to passion, they must lay bare their souls for a love that could heal—and free—them both.

Bared is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Author Information

author photoAs a child, Valerie would often get into trouble for peeking at her mother’s favorite TV show, Dark Shadows. She can still hear her mother saying “It will give you nightmares.” She was right of course, but that did not stop Valerie from watching. As an adult, her love of the fanged creatures never waned. She would watch any vampire movie she could find.

Being a true romantic, Valerie was thrilled when she discovered the genre of paranormal romance. Her first read was one of Lara Adrian’s, Midnight Breed Series and from there she was hooked.

Today, Valerie has decided to take her darker, sensual side and put it to paper. When she is not busy creating a world full of steamy, hot men and strong, seductive women, she juggles her time between a full-time job, hubby and her two German shepherd dogs, in Northern IL.

Excerpt:

Katrina stepped through the door of The Magic Cove. Music blasted across the room. The scent of alcohol and sweat assaulted her senses. She wrinkled her nose.

With sheer determination, her Aperlai heels carried her to the empty bar stool on the other side of the room. A smile slid across her lips at the whistling catcalls resounding from behind. No doubt, they were admiring her ass in the tight-fitting jeans she’d poured herself into. Her favorite pink top plunged to a deep V between large breasts. Looking one’s best never hurt, especially when negotiating a deal with the opposite sex.

Sources said the demon she hunted owned the club. If that was true, finding him should prove easy enough. She only needed to ask.

She plunked down on a stool and kept her gaze pointed straight ahead, not daring to look at the woman next to her. The overwhelming beauty of the female, along with the intricately designed copper bustier she wore confirmed she was a Valkyrie. Immortals known to be the most brutal of women. One wrong move and they’d shred you to pieces, all while laughing about it. She had to admire them though and wished she could be more brutal.

Kat observed her surroundings, noting pointed ears, clawed nails and drunks in various states of shape-shifting.

She shuddered.

This place scared the hell out of her, but then events from earlier that evening still raced through her mind and reminded her of the mission.

She’d been reading her father’s journal, taken aback by his findings.

Her father, an archaeologists, was one of the best in the world and able to read a variety of languages, including many immortal dialects. He’d been hired by several top leaders from the immortal realm to find artifacts long lost by their ancestors. There were hundreds of discoveries under his belt, except for one: The Orecha Emerald, believed to be a magical stone with healing powers.

With nothing to back up the stories woven through the centuries, the stone was a myth. Her father, however, always believed it to be real and his journal indicated he’d found its location.

When she’d visited, he’d looked worse than he had the last time she’d seen him, the cancer slowly eating away at his body. She’d tried hard to contain her emotions. Instead of letting the tears flow, she’d smiled, moved toward his bed, bent over and kissed him on the cheek.

“You look well today.”

He’d placed a kiss on her hand. “Don’t try and snow me. I know I look like hell.” He gave a weak smile. “But you are as beautiful as ever. You look more like your mother every day.”

She’d sucked in a deep breath and held the tears at bay. The loss of her mother still stung ten years later. She’d only been fifteen at the time, and her poor father had been left alone to deal with a rebellious daughter.

“Father, I read your journal. Do you truly believe the Orecha Emerald exists?”

Brown eyes had misted. “Yes, with all my heart. I only wish I had found it in time to save your mother.”

The breath had escaped her lungs in a loud sigh.

His brows had knitted together. “Kitten, you’re not thinking of seeking it yourself, are you?”

“Yes.” She’d squeezed his hand. “I’ll do anything to save you.” No longer able to hold back, the tears had rolled down her cheeks.

“No, I forbid it.” He’d reached up and wiped away her sorrow. “You are all I have left in this world.”

The concern on his face made her more determined. She would do anything for this man.

“And you are all I have left, which is why I must go. You cannot stop me. I’m firm in my decision.” She’d kissed his rough hand. If there was any chance in hell that stone existed, then she would find it.

“You’ve always been a stubborn girl, and I realize I’m too old and sick to stop you. It will be dangerous. I beg you to reconsider.”

She’d forced a smile. “You know I can’t.”

He’d sighed. “I know, but I had to try. Please promise you’ll be careful. You know what you must do?”

“Yes, I’ll go tonight.”

So, here she sat in a crowded night club, looking for a thousand-year-old Uoinota demon named Damis. She’d been told he knew every detail of the Amazon and would be the best escort to hire.

A red-haired pixie sashayed up, a white towel slung over her shoulder. “What can I get ya, sweetie?”

Kat leaned forward, blonde hair covering her peripheral view. “I’m looking for a demon named Damis.”

The pixie chuckled. “You and every other female in here. Take a number.”

She pushed back in the stool and fidgeted. She’d heard the demons were built like Greek gods and their sexual appetite insatiable. “No, it’s not what you think. I mean…I intend to hire him for a job.”

With elbows perched on the bar, the pixie leaned closer. “What’s your name, sweetheart?” She tucked a strand of red hair behind a pointed ear.

“Katrina, but please, call me Kat.”

“Kat, I’m Lilly. You seem like a nice girl, so I’m gonna do you a favor and tell you to run.”

Her throat went dry. “Why?”

“Damis is a very old and wise demon. He’ll eat you alive.” Lilly placed a glass on the bar and filled it with white wine. “On the house.”

She grabbed the glass and downed half its contents in one swig. “Thanks, but I have a job offer for him and was told he’d be willing to help.”

Lilly gave her the once over. “Oh, he’ll be willing all right. Question is will you? Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you must have heard about his sexual exploits.” She shrugged. “Wait here. I’ll see if he’s busy.”

Kat downed the rest of the wine. Sleeping with the demon hadn’t been something she’d even considered, but she did find the idea intriguing. It had been months since her last failed relationship. Too strong willed, David had called her. He’d been a lame fuck anyway. Providing the demon wasn’t hideous, perhaps this could prove advantageous in more ways than one.

Still, this was strictly business. The demon was the best guide money could buy. It also didn’t hurt that he was the oldest and most powerful of his species. No doubt, he could break any enchantments that surrounded the stone. I just hope he’s honest.

Lilly came back to the bar. “He’ll see you.”

“Thank you. Um, where is he?” Her gaze moved around the room, not having a clue what he looked like.

“Over there.”

She turned to where Lilly pointed. At the back of the room stood a man cloaked in dark shadows, arms crossed over a broad chest. Katrina swallowed, wanting to run. Remember, anything for father.

A faint laugh came from behind the bar. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Kat stood and balanced on her four-inch heels, abruptly aware how the denim clung to every curve and the pink tank-top molded to her breasts. Her hands glided down her rounded hips, smoothing her attire. Show time.

My Writing Process

This post is actually a part of a blog hop. I’ve been tagged by the lovely Anne Lange and I’ve tagged three authors to follow my post in the hop. There are more authors to visit at Anne’s post and you can continue hopping from there or here. So, what is this hop about? It’s about authors offering others a glimpse into their work, their work schedules, and perhaps their innermost thoughts.  I’m having so much fun with this. I hope you hop and have fun too.

Friends with Benefits CoverBefore I get to the questions, I have to make sure you know about Anne. I fell for her writing style in one snippet. That’s all it took. She pulled me right in and each snippet and book since have left me hooked. You must check her out and of course her Writing Process post which can be found here. You can also click on her pretty covers to see that book page at her site.

Now for the questions …

Q. What am I working on?

A. I’m polishing the 2nd book in my Love Projects series. I hope to hit send very soon. Then I’ll be going back to a little novelette that’s almost finished. I hope to hit send on that soon as well. After that I’ll be working on finishing the first in a new series of novelettes about a fine group of criminals and the women that capture their hearts. Aw. Then I’ll head back to the Love Projects series. I’m only a few chapters into writing the 3rd book in that series. Lots to do and I can’t wait for all of it. Love my characters.

Q. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

A. I love romance and that will always be up front and center in my books. I also enjoy adding a bit of kink to my stories and the D/s relationship hits the spot for me. So far, all of my stories have been about strong career driven women who find their one and only in the middle of their work day. They love their jobs and they’re passionate about their men. Yes, my leading ladies are lucky, but I make them work for each of their happy endings.

Q. Why do I write what I do?

A. I write what I like to read. It’s that simple. I love hot romances. I love finding broken hearts and gluing them back together. It’s what I do and I love it.

Q. How does your writing process work?

A. I work on my WIPs every minute I get in-between taking care of my family, my home, my volunteer responsibilities, and the evil day job. Some days it’s hours and others it’s just a few minutes. My schedule varies and when an opening pops up, I have to advantage.

Once the first draft is done, a long series of read throughs begin. The first couple of passes I edit for story arch and then character arch. I usually add several thousand words during these read throughs. The last couple of passes are for sentence structure and anything else I find that I can tighten. Once my betas offer their feedback, it’s back to the read throughs until the manuscripts shines and then I hit send.

I’m mostly a plotter, but I pantsy my way through each book. Until I’m done with that last read through, you never know what I might change.

Q. Who will we meet next?

A. I’m passing the question baton to three fellow Evernight authors.

Iyana Jenna author of This Isn’t GoodbyeAn Omega’s Fate and many others will share her post on March 4th.

Nicola Cameron author of TricksterGrading the Curve posted her writing process on February 25th and it can be seen here.

Nikka Michaels author of Christmas with CadenChasing Matt and many coming soon shared her post on February 27th and it can be seen here.

I hope you enjoyed the walk through My Writing Process. 🙂

ROW80 Check-in #91 Not Before It’s Ready

Hello Weekend Writing Warriors. I’ll be taking a couple weeks off while I finish my latest WIP. I’ll be back soon.

The writing challenge that knows you have a life.

For the first time in weeks, I made time for my WIP everyday. It might be because I can smell the finish line. It also might be because I had more time this week outside of all my other responsibilities. The finish line is most definitely within reach though and I want so badly to hit send.

Each time I read through this WIP, I fall in love with my characters all over again and I cannot wait to share them with you.

I know it would be a crime to hit send too soon.

Today or early this week, I hope to release it to my betas. I will keep myself busy with another WIP to clean my palate. Once I have the manuscript back, I’ll work my way through the findings and, when it’s ready, I will hit send, but not before it’s ready.

The Goals – week-7 results

    • Spend at least 1-hour a day with my characters- done. 🙂
    • Daily progress in writing craft, word count, editing, and/or plotting- very much done. I finished a read through. Reworked one of the love scenes and added a connection that I’d missed. I added over 2k. I’m so close.
    • Take care of and be kind to myself (start w/ a relaxing ritual and daily breaks from technology)not done. I had a good week, but as I get closer to hitting send, the pressure is getting greater to get this WIP right and it’s stressing me out. I need to figure out a way to work through it and relax each day.

What you might have missed here this week:

Flash Fiction #57 His Stubborn Witch

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words.

February 21, 2014

Kyra stood silent while each member of her coven said goodbye to the fleet. The farewells were common place now, but this was the first time Charles would leave her behind.

Crew members loaded supplies and children ran circles around their parents, but Kyra could hear nothing but her unspoken plea.

Forgive me. Love me.

She’d never once told him she cared. She didn’t know how much until now.

Charles stepped onto the loading dock and waved to the crowd.

“Wait!” She ran. He took a step off the platform and she fell at his feet.

“Finally, my stubborn witch.”

Inside Look with Elyzabeth M. VaLey author of Blind Beauty

Click to see all the Inside Looks at SJsIt’s special treat day at SJ’s. I’ve fallen in love with the writing style of today’s guest author. I’m so happy she’s decided to stop by my blog while promoting her latest release, Blind Beauty. She’s answering a bunch of my questions too. So much fun.

Enjoy!

Welcome, Elyzabeth! I’m so excited you’re here. Let’s start simple. Tell us a little be about yourself and why did you start writing?

Greetings! I’m Elyzabeth M. VaLey and I’m an erotic romance author. I’ve been writing since forever, but I became a published author in 2009 when a few of my short stories were accepted for publication.

I started writing because it’s something I love. I’ve been making up stories for as long as I can remember, so putting them down in pen and paper (now, in electronic ink) was the natural thing to do.

Making up stories is the best thing. Okay, I want a closer look. Take us on a little tour of your writing space.

Welcome to my house. Careful with the stairs and don’t mind the dogs, they’ll be your new shadow while you’re visiting. To the left is my bedroom, but never mind that, you’re here to see my writing space.

Well, here it is to your left! As you can see, it’s a bit crowded. At the far end of the wall there are three bookshelves. One of them has the complete Britannica Encyclopedia from 1988. The other two are jam packed with diverse books. From my mother’s psychology books (she’s studying), to Shakespeare, Russian authors, old school yearbooks, dictionaries and some Spanish books among other novels.  In front of the Encyclopedia bookcase is a CD tower with music and right in front of that is the Labrador’s crate (yes, he’s over two but he still likes to go into his crate. We call it his little cave). Behind the Lab’s crate is the balcony. Say hello to the cat and enjoy the mountain view. Yep, those brown spots down there are cows. And finally, you have the desk.  Yes, that’s my University class graduation picture. Please, ignore it.

About the desk, as you can see I have a desktop computer but it doesn’t work well, so I normally use my netbook, which  is also dying slowly and painfully. There’s the phone, my mom’s laptop, a few more books, pens, paper, cd’s and voila, that’s it! Some of my reference books are in my room and when I need them I just bring them here.

I would so love to visit you one day, Elyzabeth. When you are not writing what are your favorite hobbies?

When I’m not writing, I enjoy watching films, going out with my friends, reading and baking. Recently, I also started agility training with my Labrador and that’s also a lot of fun!

Yes, we’d get along nicely. 🙂 What is the most surprising thing you discovered while writing your book(s)?

Figging! No, wait… though the origins of BDSM are not clear, it can be traced back to 490 BC! Or, wait, did you know there is a ski goddess? Her name is Skaði and she’s also the goddess of winter, mountains and hunting. I’ve discovered some pretty amazing things!

I’m not surprised it goes back that far. Ski goddess, really. Very cool. I need to call to her the next time I’m out on the hills. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

Without counting the short stories and the anthologies, I’ve written 12 books. I’m afraid I can’t really pick a favorite. I love all my children the same *grin*

I’ve only published two so far and I can’t pick a favorite either. It really is a cruel question, lol. What advice would you give a new writer just starting out?

Pay attention to constructive criticism but don’t give up because of a rejection. The writing industry is subjective and what one publisher doesn’t like another might love.

Great advice. Which one of your characters would you most like to meet in real life?

Adrian Ormonde! *swoon* He looks like one of my favorite rock stars and he’s a shifter! A dragon/demon shifter with a muscled body, green eyes, black hair, over six feet tall…*Fans self*

Swoon is right! I’ll take a bit of that fan too. 🙂 What turns you on creatively?

Music is my creative elixir. And coffee, with milk and sugar.  *grin*

Coffee and tunes. Yes! I can’t write without either. What is your favorite music (genre/artist/album/song)?

I listen to almost anything, but my favorite is metal music. My favorite group is HIM and my favorite album from them is Dark Shadows and Brilliant Highlights. It’s not their best album, but it was the first one I heard so I love it. I have several favorite songs, but the first one that comes to mind is ‘Heaven Tonight’ from their album Razorblade Romance.

Tell us a bit about the projects you are working on now?

I’m currently finishing up book 3 of The Witches’ Mischief series. It’s another Naughty Fairy tale and once more, the witch Soussanna and her daughter meddle in other people’s love affairs.  As soon as I’m done with them, I hope to start a new shifter novel.

Thank you so much, Elyzabeth. It was a lot of fun to get to know you better. Please share with us all the details on Blind Beauty, the 2nd book in your Witches’ Mischief series.

Defined as weird since she was about eight, Elyzabeth honors the title by making up songs about her chores, doodling stars and flowers on any blank sheet of paper and talking to her dog whenever he feigns interest.

Losing the battle to the voices in her head is her favorite pastime after annoying her younger sister with her singing. Writing stories full of passion and emotion where love conquers all is her happy pill and she’ll forgo sleep to make her readers live the dream.

Excerpt:

He climbed atop his horse, as told. His back molded to Richard’s, his body betraying him as it molded into the other man’s embrace. Richard pulled him hard against him, his body enveloping him in an almost suffocating hug.

“Go,” he whispered huskily into his ear, his breath fanning it. James pressed his thighs against Faith’s flanks, hoping the animal would understand, considering the strange position she was in. She did, for she set off at a trot in the direction Richard indicated. They galloped in silence, trees whirring past them, snow flying when they swept past. James eyes widened and he barely controlled the urge to order Faith to stop as he realized their impasse.

“Richard, the hoof prints, the snow.” James pointed at the visible trail. “They’ll track us down as easily as the king’s hounds trace a fox.”

Richard’s breath was warm in his ear. His hair tickled his temple and James had to suppress a shiver.

“I know.” Richard chuckled. “Don’t worry. I have a plan, besides wishing that they’ll wake up during the night and we’ll be miles away by then or that it snows heavily again.”

James wished he didn’t have to worry, but he couldn’t relax. The problem wasn’t so much the thieves that could pursue them at any moment, but the man behind him. He was too close, too comforting, and all too desirable. James shifted in his seat again, trying to find a comfortable position. One in which he wasn’t pressed up tightly against Richard’s groin. One in which he didn’t imagine he felt the length of his cock hard against him. Because, he was convinced it was his imagination. Otherwise, how could a man like Richard be interested in him? It didn’t make any sense. In his experience, men like Richard were ladies’ men. They seduced, fucked and discarded women. He wasn’t a woman and he’d been rejected too many times in his life. He didn’t need this. He didn’t need more pain. Richard’s fingers brushed against his side, the fingers digging into his flesh and distracting him as arousal flared in every centimeter of his flesh.

“What got you into thievery?” he asked, attempting to forget how close their bodies were.

Richard grunted in reply and he fell silent once more, fishing his mind for a topic of conversation. It came up blank. He thought about asking Richard to stop. Faith was probably tiring though she didn’t show it and surely, they were safe by now. He should ask. James knew he should, but he couldn’t. He was losing his mind, falling prey to the liquid fire that was consuming him inside and outside. He wasn’t sure if the man was hard, but he was. His cock was stiff and throbbing, the idea of taking or being taken by Richard flashing through his mind every time Faith bounced.

What would it feel like?

Flesh both silky and hard as steel brushing against him, an intimate caress, deep and longing. They’d become one man, writhing, gasping, and moaning. James’ breath hitched, the tightness in his breeches becoming uncomfortable. He clenched his teeth together and grasped the reins so tightly the material cut into his hands. He scrambled to regain his bearings, to remember whom he was with and what had occurred in the last 48 hours. He couldn’t trust Richard, but neither could he trust his treacherous body. He was not a beautiful man. Surely the thief didn’t want him. The thief. That’s right, Richard was a thief. He had no morals, no scruples, no—James groaned as Faith skipped over a fallen log, throwing Richard’s body against him, the erection he was sure he was imagining grinding against his bottom.

New Daily Picspiration Flash and FIVE Stars for TAKING CHANCES

takingchances1mI came across a review today for my debut, TAKING CHANCES from BDSM Book Reviews. They gave my story  5 out of 5 paddles for story and 5 out 5 for kink. *Queue SJ’s happy dance*

The reviewer wrote, “S.J. Maylee’s story is one of beauty and well researched” and “The journey that is embarked upon is gently done instead of pushed. Though a short story, this is well developed and the BDSM scenes are well written. It is not often that a short story can convey the beauty that a Dominant and submissive relationship can have.”

The reviewer had several other great things to say, the link for the full review is at the top. I’m so glad that folks are loving TAKING CHANCES. 😀

Today, I have a brand new flash. It can be seen here and over at Daily Picspiration where everyday there are new flashes by one of over a dozen different writers.

This pic here was one that I was given to inspire my words.

Enjoy.

Finding Love

“I’m not going to fall asleep again.” Jane forced her eyelids to open. “Just keep talking.”

“Right.” Robert shook his head and kept his gaze on the road in front of them. “Your eyes haven’t been open for more than five minutes this whole trip.”

“I know. I’m so sorry. I’m just so nervous about tomorrow.” She rolled her shoulders. “I was up half the night trying to figure out what to say to her.”

“I’m sure the words will come when you see her.” He reached out and rubbed her knee. “Why don’t you just lay back and rest. “Tomorrow’s a big day.”

“Thanks, but I’d rather wear myself out so I have a chance at sleeping tonight.” She pulled down the visor to see the tiny mirror and poked at the dark circles under her eyes.

“Why don’t we stop and stretch our legs.” Robert pulled the car to the side of the road. “I think it will be quite a while before we reach the next town.

Jane stepped out of the car and looked out over the open field. New patches of green were coming back in spots all over, but the harshness of winter could still be seen in the broken branches along the tree line.

Jane made her way through the field. It seemed empty of life and the desolation seeped into her skin like the cold hollowness her mother left behind when she disappeared two years ago. Jane picked up her pace as she lost her self in memories of long ago.

“Jane!”

She stopped, turned around and Robert stopped in front of her.

“Where are you going?”

“I don’t know. I don’t know where I should be.”

“Honey, your long search is finally over.” He reached out and caressed her face. “It only makes sense that you’re feeling this anxiety.” He picked up her hands. “You know what you need now?”

“What?”

“A piggy back ride.” He turned around and helped her up on his back and he started to run in circles.

The wind almost blew off her hat and an easy giggle reached her ears. It took her a second to recognize the foreign sound as her own laughter.

“Robert, I love you.”

He sat her feet on the ground and turned around. “I love you too.”

ROW80 Check-in #90 Ready to Rock

Hello Weekend Writing Warriors. I’ll be taking a couple weeks off while I finish my latest WIP. I’ll be back soon.

The writing challenge that knows you have a life.

For weeks, I’ve been talking about my struggles with my WIP. I  haven’t been able to get it done and time hasn’t been the only problem.

This week, I came across a post listing 10 Self-Limiting Habits Successful Writers DON’T Have. It’s a mouthful, but it’s such an empowering read. By the time I was done reading the post, I was ready to rock.

I cleaned up my beat sheet and spent a good amount of time thinking through my story.

Click. Click. Click.

I finished a read through, kept going, and finally yesterday I typed “The End.”

The WIP is no where near ready for submission. I still have a good bit of character arch to clean up, several read throughs to complete, and my betas to get past, but I’m a huge step closer to hitting send.

I see now that I had pushed myself up against a wall these past few weeks, and I couldn’t see the finish line. You better believe I’ve bookmarked that post. It clearly helped me to push past whatever was holding me back.

The Goals – week-6 results

    • Spend at least 1-hour a day with my characters- done. 🙂
    • Daily progress in writing craft, word count, editing, and/or plotting- not done. My week started off slow. Well, crazy busy on the evil day job front. By mid-week my focus was back on track, thanks to that fab post. I finished my read through and finished the last scene too. I also added 1k.
    • Take care of and be kind to myself (start w/ a relaxing ritual and daily breaks from technology)– done. I worked through a lot of stuff this week. I’m proud of that. I also took breaks from technology this week and boy did it help me stay recharged. I also stepped back from a couple tasks and I’ve used the time well.

I LOVE putting romance in my books. I also put my characters through a good bit of sexual tension, conflict, and a heap of kink, but giving them their happy ending is definitely my sweet spot. The moment when you feel the characters heart expanding and realizing they cannot live without that other person. Yum!

BloghopPrizesRomance in real life shouldn’t come just once a year. I indulge on a regular basis. My hubs and I still enjoy date nights and his simple notes, hugs, and smooches still light my fire. Aw. I’m a lucky girl. I definitely appreciate everything he does for me.

I also appreciate each and every one of you that found the time to visit me today. Thank you!! I’m a new author. My debut TAKING CHANCES released last August and UNTANGLE ME released in December. I hope to have my third book out in the next couple of months.

Below you’ll find the blurb for UNTANGLE ME, my newest release. Plus, a little excerpt and my Giveaway. I hope you enjoy and have tons of fun on the hop.

Seth has it all. He has homes around the world and the little red speedster he dreamed of as a little boy, but none of the things he can buy satisfy him, not the socialites hanging on his arm or the submissives falling at his feet. Then, he hires Ivy to plan his next event.

When their secret kinks are revealed, the pair fall deep, but it’s not meant to last. Past hurts come back to haunt Ivy. Now, it’s time for Seth to use all he’s learned, regardless if he can win back the girl.

EXCERPT:

Where was Seth?

Once in the center of the dance floor she turned in a circle, looking every direction.

There.

From the center seat at the bar, Seth’s direct stare held her captive. A new song excited the crowd and cheers surrounded them, but neither of them paid it any attention.

His jacket and tie were gone, giving her a closer look at his all-male body. The top button on his white shirt was undone. She wanted to undo the rest and get a glimpse at what lay underneath. Round shoulders tapered to his waist. She bit her lip as she imagined his length.

He made no move to come to her, his elbow still rested on the bar. He was a man waiting for the world to come to him.

Not the world. Her.

The comfortable confidence and the heat shining in his eyes turned her on. She swayed her hips to the hypnotic beat. Her hands felt their way up her thighs, around her hips, and an inch past her waist, he got up and walked towards her.

In no time, his feet stepped in between hers and together they rocked to the music. The drums and base from the band pushed a rhythm into her body, driving her desire. Their fingers interlaced. She snuggled closer and breathed in his clean musky scent.

She wanted to touch him, but he kept a hold on her hands. He pushed them both behind her, causing her back to arch and her breasts to press deliciously into his hard body. Heat rolled through her. She let her head fall back, exposing her neck.

His lips brushed across her collarbone. They continued to rock back and forth, their hips swaying and rubbing together. He took her wrists in one hand and his other stroked down her neck, over her shoulder, caressed the side of her breast, and around her waist to land on her butt. He squeezed her ass and pressed her into the hard ridge of his cock. She lowered her chin and moaned as she took in his expression filled with raw desire. A slow devilish smile lit his features and sent a tremble through her.

The song ended and another began while they continued their dance. He let go of her hands and she wrapped them around his neck. Both of his hands molded her ass. She nuzzled his neck, taking a nibble and a few kisses as she breathed him in. She wanted more.

Lots more.

She made her way closer to his mouth. Before she stole a kiss, she looked into his eyes. His brown eyes had darkened to the color of night, matching his hair. She sucked on her lower lip.

“You know what you’re doing, right?” he asked.

“I know I want you.”

“The Masters work the back rooms on club nights. But we can stay on the dance floor all night, if you want.”

“You’re talking about the one on one rooms?” She sucked in a breath.

“I don’t think this crowd is prepared to see what I want to do to you.”

“Can we go back there? I want to go back there.” She looked directly into his eyes.

“A hot blend of raw sensuality, this is an author to watch!”

~Eden Bradley, author of THE DARK GARDEN and DANGEROUSLY BOUND
