Welcome friends old and new. I’m glad you came. Today, I’m sharing from my second release, UNTANGLE ME.
Ivy is a young event planner and she’s completely smitten with her newest client, the ultra successful businessman, Seth. However, Seth is not the type of guy Ivy wants in her life. LAST WEEK: Seth’s concerns surfaced while he watched Ivy during their car ride to lunch. THIS WEEK: I’ve skipped ahead a little bit. I skipped over some of Seth’s sexier thoughts. Oops. Let’s see how he’s managing now.
So many things he wanted to know, but she wasn’t his to touch, yet.
Ivy stared at the latest message. He snuck a look at her screen and watched her type, “Yes, sir.”
His heart quickened its pace and his mouth went dry. He had no idea who she was texting, but he didn’t want her calling anyone sir, but him. He took a deep calming breath. She was probably just texting with another client. He needed to figure out how to become something more than just her client.
Got to love a man on a mission. I wonder what these two will find to talk about over lunch and if it will add to their sexual tension or give them more tangles. Hmm. Come back next Sunday for another snippet or find the buy links below and read it today. Their connection is definitely real, but it may be a bit tangled. <~ You can <tweet that> if you want.

BLURB:
Ivy’s revenge on the people behind her family’s downward spiral is simple and it’s working. There’s no need to long for help from the wealthy business owners who turned their backs on her father. Ivy may be worn
out, but she’s finding herself again after joining the local BDSM club.
Seth has it all. He has homes around the world and the little red speedster he dreamed of as a little boy, but none of the things he can buy satisfy him, not the socialites hanging on his arm or the submissives falling at his feet. Then, he hires Ivy to plan his next event.
Seth and Ivy enjoy each other’s company in and out of the planning stages for Seth’s charity event. Their playful bets lead them to a first date. When their secret kinks are revealed, the pair fall deep, but it’s not meant to last. Past hurts come back to haunt Ivy. Now, it’s time for Seth to use all he’s learned, regardless if he can win back the girl.

I think Seth is going to have a hard time to get her. If she is texting someone else, she might not be interested.
The interest is definitely there, but she doesn’t want to want him. So yes, he definitely has a challenge in front of him.
Well now, that one leaves a lot for my imagination to conjure. Great snippet.
Thanks, AS. I appreciate it. 🙂
Sounds like he’s going to have to do some work to get her full attention!
Most definitely and I hope he can hold on to her once he does. Thanks for stopping by.
He could try telling her how he feels but that wouldn’t be as much fun! Enjoying this tale!
Nope, but he’s getting to that point where he’s going to have to lay it for her. I love that part. Thanks, Gemma.
Great 8. I think he needs a plan 😉
Yes he does. Good thing he is about to eat. These two are about to get to know each other in a whole new light. So much fun. Thanks for coming over, Anne.
“yet” LOL! Pretty confident, isn’t he?
Yes he is. He’s definitely showing his Dom colors in this snippet.
Really like this–I think he’s in for it now.
Ivy definitely won’t make it easy for him. Well, not yet anyway. 😉
I think he’d better be very mindful of how he proceeds, fascinating little snippet today, enjoying this story a lot!
That’s right, Veronica. He’s lucky he got her on this little lunch date. He’s got a lot of work ahead of him if he wants her to start calling him Sir.
Yeah—he’s gone! I love that “Sir” made him jealous—it’s adorable and hot at the same time. 🙂
I can’t tell whether a subtle or strong touch will work better with Ivy . . .
I don’t think he’s figured that out either, Sarah, but he’s about to. 😉
Great snippet, SJ. I love his jealousy and possessive thoughts. Nicely done. 🙂
He’s definitely a jealous boy right now. I sure hope he can pull it together. Well, I can tell you he definitely … 😉
I want more Seth. LOL. I love his reaction to “sir”
Aw! Thank you, Michelle. I just put a smile on my face. Much appreciated. 🙂
Last I knew “sir” was a term of respect, not romantic intent. But then I may have missed something in the story that gives that word greater significance.
Seth is a Dom and he’s getting ahead of himself a little here, but that’s jealousy for you. Ivy’s not making anything easy for him.
Touchy, isn’t he, to be that hung up over a word.
In his life style, that’s a very important word and yes I would agree. He is being touchy.
If it’s not work-related she’s losing points for texting someone while with someone else… Unless, of course, she is in a D/s relationship that we haven’t heard about yet…
She’s not to concerned about losing points at the moment, but all that is about to change.
He’s very sure of himself. “She wasn’t his to touch, yet.”
He is very sure. That’s his history, but all might not work out as he planned with this girl. Stay tuned. 🙂
Whoa, there! She’s going to have to call some people ‘sir.’ Also, reading her texts? Pushing his luck.
She’s definitely pushing his buttons. Come back next week and see if he’s able to turn things around.
That’s what he gets for checking over her phone, tsc tsc. Now, he’ll just have to come up with a plan quickly in case the other “Sir” is not really a client 😛
