Welcome friends old and new. I’m glad you came. 🙂 Once again, I’m sharing from my just started WIP.
Gina’s still healing from divorce. Although she gets along with her ex, it’s his best friend, Marcus, that’s the last person she’d want to see on her night out at the local BDSM club, but that’s exactly who she ran into at the benches. Marcus can’t let this woman in need walk away and he gets her to bend over his spanking bench. Last Week: Gina remembered to count, but Marcus soon noticed something wasn’t right. He dropped the paddle, wanting to be sure Gina was in the right frame of mine This week: I’ve skipped nothing.
She dropped her head and squeezed her eyes shut, forcing the pressure in her eyes to retreat. She would not break, not here, not in front of Marcus.
“Whoa.” His reach swiped under her arms, lifting her. “I’ve got you.”
Chest to chest he held her tight and her resolve crumbled. Guilt consumed her like a fire racing across an empty field. She melted into him, not wanting to know why he felt so right.
It seems Marcus is the right man for the job after all. Who knew, definitely not Gina, lol. Are they enemies or could they actually be star-crossed lovers? <~ You can <tweet that> if you want. Hope you’ll come back and find out more about these two. Poor Gina, will she ever get that release she’s looking for?
Thank you so much for visiting me, it means a lot to me that you took the time to visit my little place on the web. Don’t forget to check out the other Weekend Warriors, the Snippet Sunday Facebook Group, and Saturday Spankings too.
Poor woman—her headspace is all over the place . . . Marcus IS a good Dom—that’s a relief! 🙂
Aw, that’s sweet, I’m hoping he takes her out of there and finds somewhere to be closer to her.
He is a real hero, rescuing her from herself. Nice 8!
This could be the start of something good. Here’s hoping! Looking froward to the next instalment.
Awww, I LIKE him. What a sweet scene, can’t wait for more, really enjoying this story. Excellent excerpt!
Sounds like he’ll help her reach the ‘right frame of mind’. Great snippet!
I like him more and more with every snippet.
I love the phrase of the guilt like racing fire…
Aww, love his compassion.
He’s so good. Now he needs to give her what she so badly needs, her release. Good snippet.
Nice scene. I like how much he cares for her.
I know I’ve said this before, but I just love this story. Finish, so I can read the whole thing. 😀
Maybe after they talk he’ll change his opinion of her… *fingers crossed*
I’ve liked him from the first and I’ve liked him more and more each week!
