Happy Six Sunday. Thanks for visiting and I’d love to know what you think!! I’m continuing this week with another 6 from my Novella WIP. Last week I left Jake frustrated and working a little too hard on hiding his Dom instincts. In today’s 6: Lydia is still out washing up from lunch and Jake has convinced himself Lydia is not for him.
He knew just how to prove himself right. His dominate side was itching to get out anyway. He would ease off on the reins and give her a little scare. It was a desperate man who willingly tried to scare a woman, a decision he feared he’d regret. Lydia’s vanilla nature would help prove him right and then he would let go of his fascination. The plan was simple and fool proof.
Famous last words for a Dom heading smack dab into something he’s not expecting. I wonder what Lydia is thinking at this very moment?… Come back next week, pretty please.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I’d like to know what you really think of my 6. I need the advice, I’m a newbie and have much to learn. Don’t forget to check out the other Six Sunday authors. Lots of good stuff at Six Sunday. Try to find a new favorite today. happy hunting!
You know, sometimes the best laid plans have a way of twisting and turning. Hope he isn’t all too surpised when things happen beyond his control. 😉
Poor Jake. His plan is foolproof if she acts the way you expected! Great tension. And of course we’re just dying to see him proved wrong!
I get the distinct feeling he’s the one in for the bigger surprise. 😀
Sounds like a plan is about to go awry.
I love when a woman screws with a man’s fool-proof plans! 😉
Haha, I love the foreshadowing in his “foolproof” plan, because you know it’s going to go awry. Sounds fun 😉
I learned very early in my love life not to assume I was the kinkiest person in the room. Great six!
Thank you oh wise one 😉
Things may just backfire on poor Jake. Great six, S.J. !
Oh I love this…looks like someone’s plan isn’t going as planned 😀
Ha! I love plans that seem “fool proof!”
Even if his plans aren’t quite so foolproof, I have a feeling he’s going to like the results. 😉 Can’t wait to see what happens next week!
Oh, boy! I think those foolproof plans might go deliciously awry!
Vanilla Nature….interesting phrase indeed! Of course his plan backfires…looking forward to more 🙂
I hop we get a peek next week at the collapse of this plan 🙂
A peek, yes, that I think I can do :D…
Hope, even. 😛
Men should never utter those words: “fool-proof.”
Agreed, lol, but the resulting actions are so fun to write 🙂
Tense, can’t wait to read what happens next week!
Any plan that seems foolproof invariably isn’t. I suspect he’s in for a surprise!
lol always watch out for a fool proof plan!
I think by saying simple and fool proof, he just set himself up for trouble. Nice six! 🙂
Thanks guys!! I agree, this poor fella needed to think of it has a plan, however excuse might be a better word 😉
Gotta love it when a man’s over-confidence leads him smack into trouble!
“Fool proof” – LOL. Not going to work at ALL, is my guess! Loved this six!
You’re a smart one, Veronica, lol 😉 thank you!!
Oh,I have a feeling he is in for so much more than he bargained for! Great six!
