Flash Fiction #8

Thanks for stopping. Another picture…another 100 words

Their little brother was tiny. Hard to believe mom had carried two this size. He smiled at his twin. Little Nathan was no less a miracle. Mom and dad were still grinning like teenagers over their newest son. None of them could have guessed this outcome.

When the brothers were five their dad had a freak accident that stole his memories and shortly after he disappeared. Nine-months ago mom announced she found dad and he had his memories back. They didn’t like thinking about where dad had been.

The love birds wasted no time, evidenced by Nathan. Their love survived.

  1. Oh, Sj, what a love story! Surviving separation, injury and loss your story is truly one of love, sex, passion and hope! All is never lost, even in the darkest hour the light of hope flickers. Lovely:) xo
