“I’ll give you all one more reason why she’s perfect for our new ad campaign.”
“Dillon, we all agree she’s beautiful.”
His ex-wife hadn’t talked to him in six-months. He didn’t care if he bored them to death. He would get her hired.
“Do you see right here? In this shot her eyes express longing and that’s exactly what—”
“What, Dillon? What do you think she’s longing for now?”
Dillon had no words. His brain couldn’t wrap around the idea popping in his head. She longed for someone else… not him. His heart cracked open.

I talked about this in one of my recent posts!
I posed the challenge to create some flash-fiction a in a group, with less than ten words and some interesting results have arisen:
“He did; she didn’t. He paid.”
by JanCan Graphics
“She weaves; he waits; it’s time.”
by Niham Clune
“Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Carver Military Academy, Good Shepherd Cemetery.”

Poor guy……I really liked your take on the pic…Great job.
Oh how sad. I hope there is someone else for him soon. Great take on the picture 🙂
How sad. All he wants is her and all she wants is another man. Talk about heartbreak. You did a great job with this pic.
His heart finally got the message and ‘cracked’. I loved this post. Very creatively written and great idea:) xo
Aw, it is sad but it’s beautifully written, well done!
Great take on the photo! I think we can all relate.
