“Eric, I thought your mom was going to hate me?” His ribs still hurt from the bear hug he received an hour ago.
“I know, Justin. I can hardly believe her reaction myself.”
“Is she really going to throw us a big wedding?”
“My guess is yes. These engagement pictures are only her warm-up.”
“Aren’t you going to tell her we’re already married?” It felt odd to take off the ring he’d been wearing for the last year, but he was thankful for the tan line.
“Ah, no. And I’m not telling her about the little girl we’re adopting either.”

You and Gemma mentioned the same thing. Not to worry ladies his mum will find out. They have time. Wedding will probably be this summer and their daughter is not arriving until the fall. 🙂

Agreed. But, in the end they are like any other couple and telling mom can be hard. I think they miss judged this mum though. Something tells me she is going to be screaming with joy and clamoring to throw a baby shower. She doesn’t really need an excuse to celebrate her son, but you give her one and she wants to party.

BOy- he’d better rethink that- I cannot see not telling her about her future grandchild as anything but a HUGE mistake. He’ll be getting tightie whities for christmas for the rest of his life.
